“Get your pizza fix at Pizza Marzano”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

When you tire of Chinese food (and you should eat Cinese in China, it's so good and NOT like Chinese food in most of the rest of the world), and you need a pizza fix, Marzano's is a good choice. A little on the spendy side, but great pizza and salads, nice people, friendly service, everything you would expect when the price is on the steep side.

“Olio De Cecco and Pasta Barilla!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

The waiters are not very fast in the service, but the manager of the place is awesome, a fast and lateral thinker and worker, so he compensates for others' deficit. Chinese chefs! so if you want Italian 'haute cuisine' you may wanna choose another restaurant (va bene for example). they're candidate for best pizza in shanghai 2013.
Good food quality (pasta is good). Electric oven /we know a real pizza -for every italian- is cooked in a wood oven, but we don't have many of those in Italy anymore-
Great quality products Pasta Barilla, Olio de Cecco (which are very expensive to get in China)
dessert... hot bread balls with nutella is very good. They have truffle oil (18 yuan top in the price). A meal costs around 100 yuan (150 if you add a glass or two of wine- depending on which you choose. oh the wine was not super)

“good pizza”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2013

Living in Ningbo and not having access to a wide variety of pizza - Pizza Marzano serves as a break from Pizza Hut & Papa John's when I am in Shanghai. Service the first time was excellent but subsequent visits have been a bit disappointing.

“Good taste - good value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 18, 2013

Had a quick lunch on my own and the staff were very attentive indeed. Had a spinach/beetroot/gorgonzola salad to start. Something healthy and very tasty indeed. Followed by a simple pesto pasta. All very good. And you are supposed to order pizza here of course...

“Always great food, always good service!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2013 via mobile

This is where I bring my better half after he's had a cr*p week at work! This is when he needs a good, honest, tasty bowl of pasta, and this is where he gets it. The service is fast and friendly, the food is hot and plentiful. No frills, just the carbs he needs to start the weekend!
