Stayed 2 nights, and was at Intercontinental Pudong the 2 earlier nights. Comparing both, I presume the latter is closer to the bund, but Jumeirah is right in front of Shanghai Expo, great if you are going there or in Shanghai for business with morning pick ups.
Jumeirah seems to offer a better deal, in terms of luxury accommodations. Intercontinental seems to have better breakfast.
Yes, the beds at Jumeirah are very good and cosy. Showers are great with strong water pressure. Enjoyed it.
