“Slipping Food and Service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

Have been visiting this shop several times a year since 2007 for both personal and business. My last 2 visits were a major letdown as both service and food was not up to close to what they were during the haydays. Overall, this restaurant is still a nice clean restaurant for SiChuan food when I have guest in town.

“Good Food Westerners will enjoy”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

This is our second trip to Shangai for several weeks at a time. As we live in a hotel across the street, it has become a go to. Our favorites - a head of steamed brocolli and Sweet and Sour Pork (Sauce is nice and pork is battered and crispy) . Last night we also got a plate of steamed pork buns (thin dough wrapped around a minced pork filling). Lots

“Great food spoilt by poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012 via mobile

Great location and fun for a big group
The food is well presented and very tasty although sweet tofu lacked imagination

The service let it down - orders were mixed up and we had to chase the waitresses continually

“Good sichuan food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2012

The service varies based on locations. Frequent to the branch in SWFC and IFC. Prefer the IFC branch. Great food and good service rendered. Try the signature dishes..all of it is good.

“Fantastic Sichuan and Cantonese food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Have tried several of the branches but still find the one in Xintiandi the best in terms of food and staff. Highly recommend the lettuce leaves in peanut sauce, the smoked tea chicken or duck, cold spicy chicken and fried ribs or beef in cumin sauce. The staff are great, and service is prompt and efficient, including swapping of plates on an automatic basis. If you do not like it too spicy, do inform the staff and they can tone down the heat. Definitely one of the better places to go in Shanghai for Sichuan dishes, though Di Shui Dong might be cheaper.
