We stayed here for four nights and loved the spacious and stylish art déco style rooms. While the view from the rooms was already impressive, we were definitely wowed when we stepped onto the rooftop bar, from which (weather permitting) you can see the Bund and all of Pudong with its impressive skyline. Breakfast, however, was on the modest side, and Salon de Ning, like most of the other venues, was usually empty.
All in all, a very good choice in Shanghai but somewhat lacking in atmosphere.
