The Hotel was a sight to the eyes but they left it off there. There were 38 in our group and I believe all had the same problem, no air conditioning and no attempt at resolving the issue. The room temperature stayed in the 80's with no air flow nor circulation. When we ask for assistance we were told that the temperature was cold for "them" and were sent a broke fan. After continued complaining (which consumed the 1st night) they changed us to a different room with the same issue. By this time it is after 10 pm and having unloaded we simply scooped up our clothes (left them on the hangers) carried them to the new room and on the return visit to the old room took some hangers that were empty back to the closet there. After a short settle in the door bell rang and two housekeepers charged in, opened the closet and began accusing us of stealing the hangers and a laundry bag from the first room. They took the laundry bag from the new room and began to insist on getting our clothes off specific types of hangers that they said belonged in the old room. Only after I told them to throw our cloths in the floor, take all the hangers and get out did they finally leave.
The food in the mornings was marginal and had a strange taste (resulting from the oil it was cooked in?). That taste carrier over into the evening meals. The location was not in an area where one would feel comfortable eating elsewhere or going out on the streets.
Again quite a site to see, big rooms with good amenities but that did not overcome the lack of comfort, poor location, the failure of the staff to do anything to assist with the problems, the rude housekeepers and poor taste of the food.
Lastly when we went to check out they attempted to access bar charges on rooms that never touched the stuff, this was only straightened out when the tour guide stepped in.
There are too many good places to stay in good locations to recommend this place.
