Absolute Bliss! From the beach welcome to the serenade departure, the island is alive with friendly faces and generous in spirit. Book at least 7 nights, we booked 6 and stayed an extra night.... you wont want to go home. We cant wait to come back. We stayed in a Sunset Pool Villa, just sensational! Thankyou to all

The wife and I spent two nights here and had a memorable, magic, time.

Our bure was ten steps from the sand and decorated in a very classy and original fashion.

The whole resort oozes class as it probably should - it's definitely not at the thong and XXXX end of the market. And we didn't see a kid the whole time.

The gardens are beautiful, the walk to the peak was lovely, food superb, wine list excellent and most importantly the staff were delightful. Could have handled a week of it.

Can't think of a better place for a honeymoon or a romantic getaway.

If I ever get married again Tokoriki here I come.

My husband and I ended our honeymoon staying at Tokoriki Island Resort for 6 nights in January 2013. We stayed in the far end Sunset Pool Villa (SPV 5) and were delighted with the accomodation! It was luxurious, private, friendly and special. The villa was large, with lovely wooden beams, ceiling fans and our own private plunge pool with decking and sunbeds! So we never needed to use the main hotel pool. The villa is a few stone steps up from the private beach. The hotel staff are extremely friendly, pretty much remembering individual names from Day 1. Daily trips are organised and can be booked ahead or even on the day if there is space! Would definitely return again, the sunset pool villas being an added treat to a special holiday or occasion!! Also the spa is a must!!

Room Tip: Ask to be in Sunset Pool Villa 5!

a big thank you to all the wonderful staff at Tokoriki resort....so friendly. The resort is stunning and our hosts Patrice and Rob gave us that personal touch rarely found at resorts. Our room was a wonderful mix of original fiji and modern luxury....loved the outdoor shower.
Our private pool was hard to drag ourselves away from but the restaurant more that made up for this challenge

Room Tip: get a room with your own private pool....also the tapanyaki night is a must

Spent 7 excellent days at the Tokoriki Island Resort. Wow - we had high expectations but even they were exceeded !
The setting is exceptional, the staff are so friendly and helpfull. We were greeted with "Welcome Home" which I initially thought a little odd, but by the time we left I totally understood.
Totally amazed that within a day the staff all knew your name.
At meal times we were made to feel ever so special by Kris, no request was too hard. She was without a doubt a highlight of our visit. She is a real asset to the resort.
Meals were on the whole very good, but perhaps a little overpriced. Extra sauce would be great. The theme evenings were great value for money and entertaining.
Some of the after dinner entertainment was great, the Crab Racing was very good, didn't do the Kava but heard it was awesome, but perhaps the Sexy Legs and Mr Tokoriki needs a rethink as no one turned out.
My partners Gluten free meals were great, Kris made every effort to cater for her and even made the effort to bring the chef out to talk with her about her requirements. Became known as "Mrs Gluten Free" However, though understandably, some of the staff do seem to struggle with what gluten free means but this could be easily addressed by some training. All in all her needs were very adequately met.......ask for the special "GF Juis" - it is great.
Every evening each table is serenaded by the Band Boys who were outstanding and seemed to have a complete playlist of virtually every song requested.Wow. Moses you have a great smile and are a whizz on the tamborine. Paulo has a song list of note in his brain. Impressive.

A highlight for us was the snorkeling trip to the island where the movie Castaway was filmed, our guide Kale was great and shared some intereting insights to the making of the movie.

Penioni was very professional and makes sure the place runs to a high standard.

We loved kayaking around the island, something that not many guests seemed to do and found some amazing snorkel spots on the other side of the island and enjoyed wonderful beaches completely on our own....no need to do the Honeymoon Packages as they are just a kayak trip away and free! I do suggest that you try it if you visit.

Coctails by a spectacular pool...no need to say more.

We came in by speed boat and went out by helicopter...in hindsight I will definitely chopper both ways on our next visit.

Only negative for me was that in almost every aspect Fiji time is ok....come late for breakfats or lunch and it's ok....Fiji time applies....but on checkout day the cleaning lady was at our door 15 minutes before the expected checkout time and quite keen to get in. Spoke to a number of other guests who had exactly the same experience. If check out is 10am don't start hassling you to be out by 9.45am. However a day room was made available to us as we had a late afternoon transfer and this was great as we were able to freshen up before depating to a great send off where it seems half the staff come out and sing you a farewell song that brings tears to the eyes!

We certainly have every intention of visiting again in the future and will without a doubt recomend it to anyone who asks.
We had spent 2 days prior to Tokoriki at Denerau and can only say we wished we had just come straight out to Tokoriki.
We intend to be back, thanks for making our holiday special.

Room Tip: Don't get a room near the chopper landing pad as they do come in pretty early some mornings. Tip...

We went to Tokoriki Island for a romantic holiday. Had the most amazing holiday that we will never forget. This resort is picture perfect, clear blue ocean, lovely room, beautiful friendly staff.
We stayed on the island for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute of it.

Staff-- We were there just over a hour and the staff had already remembered our names. Fijian people are just fabulous, very polite, kind hearted people. They work very hard to keep this resort beautiful. Tiana cleaned our room every day to a very high standard and was always so talkative but respectful at the same time when we were relaxing out on our day beds. Band Boys are genuine and have awesome voices, we really enjoyed there singing every night and loved to give them a challenge with song choices. Special thank you to Moses, Joshua and Paulo you guys really made us feel welcome and loved drinking cava with you. (Ask for Band Boys to play farm yard song, very entertaining).

Rooms-- we stayed in bure 26 it was spacious, high light of the room is the outdoor shower. Room was always cleaned to high standard. Bed was comfy. Had air con on the day & day to keep the room cold. Fresh flowers all over our room every day,

Food-- food was slightly overpriced however was always very yummy. Mongolian buffet night was awesome. We had wedges for lunch most days were just enough to get us through to dinner.

Drinks-- lots of delicious cocktails, must try Angry Fijian very good! Prices of drinks were reasonable.

Overall would recommend this resort to everyone as it was a very special place, dedicated staff who are proud of their culture and very polite/welcoming. Will diffidently be returning to Tokoriki!
