“Perfect place for a honeymoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2013

We spent 3 nights here in the over-water bures and had a wonderful time. From the moment we arrived everything was perfect - we were greeted by name, our bags were whisked away to our room and they even kept the restaurant open late for us. The resort was so luxurious, my husband kept saying this was too good for us! And the food - my only complaint was that we ate far too much because it tasted so good. The service was amazing too, it felt like there were magic fairies visiting our room when we were not there to clean, bring canapes, top up the cookie jar and light the oil burner.

Room Tip: The over-water bures are worth the extra for that ultimate in luxury and indulgence. You can watch t...

From the wonderful greeting to the fond farewell Likuliku resort will fulfill your dreams and expectations. The staff are the most wonderful asset this resort has and that is saying something as the accommodation, food and location are spectacular.I have a mobility issue and they were so kind and aware of my needs but went above and beyond every time. The deluxe beach front bure was just amazing, beautifully appointed with great linen, toiletries and the best coffee and cookies. The plunge pool was warm and the daybed so comfy ( my husband slept his brains out!). The snorkeling straight off the beach was brilliant. The food was outstanding, fresh and healthy but with some spectacular indulgent desserts. The chef would have been just at home in a five star Melbourne establishment. We could not recommend Likuliku highly enough to everyone, the personalized service is just the ticket. For that special break this is the place.

My husband was in charge of organising the honeymoon. A year on, I just realised I never wrote a review. I loved our honeymoon. It was perfect! We met some great friends, stayed in total luxury, the staff were super friendly and we've promised ourselves that on our 10 year anniversary we'll go back. Seriously! If you can- GO!!!!

My Husband and I spent out 10th wedding anniversary here and we loved every minute of it.
The staff are absolutely wonderful and very attentive from the moment you arrive they greet you by name and nothing is ever to much trouble and they all have a great sense of humour.
My husband one morning woke with a very sore throat and the staff couldn't do enough for him, getting him tea with honey and panadol. Every time they saw him they were always asking how he was feeling and if there was anything they could get him.
Loved the Friday night cocktail party and Meke performance. If you are wanting to stay then make sure you have a Friday night included.
Food is worth going for alone, its amazing!!
We thoroughly enjoyed the snorkelling and relaxing by the pool with cocktails.
We stayed in the garden Bure and was impressed. Outdoor shower was great.
On our last night we celebrated our anniversary and after dinner they bought to our table a beautiful cake with happy anniversary written in chocolate and sang us an anniversary song. I'm not a crier but this bought a tear to my eye. They make a special occasion feel even more special.
We enjoyed the couples massage as well.
Upon leaving we were sent off with a farewell song and again bought a tear to my eye. Was sad to leave likuliku it felt like a home away from home.
This was our best holiday place by far. It's just like a postcard except you're in it. So relaxing and will definitely be back. Worth every cent!

I had high expectations and Likuliku met them - great everything - room (we were in the first overwater bure - all the way on the end), service, food, overall atmosphere and activities/snorkeling - top notch and worth going even though it was quite pricey - it was our 15 year anniversary (an "honeymoon) - we got married on our 15 year anniversary right before leaving for this 3 week trip (Australia, NZ, Fiji) and this we saved Likuliku for the last 2 nights before heading back to San Francisco. Everyone was so friendly. Spa/massages were great too.
Perfect place.

Room Tip: Not sure about the other rooms - I think we had the best one (literally #1)

My wife and I just returned from our honeymoon and we have nothing but good things to say about the resort, the location, the food and most of all, the people. From the initial greeting to the very sad parting, the staff at LikuLiku treat you like family and couldn't be more pleasant and helpful. We stayed 4 nights in the deluxe beach front and 3 in the overwater Bure and would recommend a similar mix to anyone considering staying at LikuLiku. The only negative, and this isn't the resorts fault, was that the scuba diving in the area was average at best. My wife went out of her way to learn a bit of Fijian while we were there and there's no question the staff appreciated the effort and went the extra mile to ensure we had a great stay.

Room Tip: Learn a bit of the Fijian language and do a trip to Cloud 9 to see the coolest floating bar in the w...

Stayed for 4 nights and can honestly say it was the most magical place, even though the weather was not on our side. From the moment we arrived the warmth and care of the staff was mind blowing. All the staff knew us by name immediately and went out if their way to be attentive and genuine. We had a garden bure and it was stunning. Next time we would book a beachfront as for a little extra you do get direct beach access. The bed was super comfy, bathroom perfect, and outdoor daybed divine. The daily replenished cookies are worth going for alone!! The water is amazing; crystal clear and warm, with amazing snorkelling directly off the beach. The pool is amazing.I could write an entire review on the food alone. It was outstanding.. Just go on a diet before you go as you will put on a few kilos!! The massima bar is a stunning location for evening cocktails, and the cooking demos and cultural shows a nice touch. The highlight of likuliku is undoubtedly its staff; they are amazing and made our stay! It was our anniversary and they made us a cake, sang us the most beautiful song, and did a special turndown... It made me cry..... Although the price per night is high we felt it was actually great value as no corners are cut and no expense spared. We stayed at the intercontinental on the mainland for four nights prior and spent almost as much, and it was not nearly in the same league ( see separate review) in summary if you are looking for a true Fijian resort of quality and finesse, look no further, you will love it. Vinaka likuliku!
