Drove from Vicksburg MS that night and I was really tired when we got in after midnite. Was happy to find a really nice, clean room with a flat screen TV. Everything looked new and worked! Plus one of the most comfortable beds I'd ever sleep on. I wanted to steal the linens and pillows which are labeled for softness or firmness. Liked it so much I booked my next night at the Holiday Inn Express in Columbia-Fort Jackson S.C. and it was just as nice if not nicer!

While driving cross country and staying in some real lousy Best Westerns were lights, phones, and heaters didn't work and a La Quinta with a awful thin mattress this place was heaven. Had to book something that morning since we hoped to make it as far as Oxford. The Best Western in Oxford is "pet friendly" and I'm not pet friendly! So I booked the Holiday Inn Express as a 2nd choice!

Will be staying at Holiday Inn Expresses when ever possible for the foreseeable future

We were in Alabama for a wedding and booked the Holiday Inn based on the fact that they offered a 2 bedroom suite and a hot breakfast. There was actually a large contingent from Jamaica who mostly booked a cheaper hotel but 4 of us decided to stay here given we were staying for 6 days.

We were pleasantly surprised as the hotel was very nice and clean. The staff at the front desk (Doris & Ty) were quite friendly and helpful. Our flight was delayed and we didn't get in until 2:45 am but we were pleasantly greeted and whisked to our room in no time.

The only downside was that sometimes when we left the room one of the keys had to be reprogrammed at the front desk as it wouldn't work when you tried to return to your room.

Breakfast was okay but since we were staying for 6 days it got monotonous after awhile. but the hotel is situated walking distance from IHOP and several other restaurants so we had no problems.

Great Hotel!! Most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in!!! Great night service help. Front desk service in the morning was a little lacking.

Cons: Don't expect to have a great breakfast. The continental stuff was okay. They had scrambled eggs but they tasted pretty gross. Good hot biscuits.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite which was very nice. We requested a rollaway for our five year old and it was sent up right away. The refrigerator wasn't very cool but we didn't really have need to use it anyway.

There isn't a sign off the highway directing you to the hotel but it wasn't too hard to find without it. Nice hotel. Will stay there again if we come through Oxford. Very quiet and clean.
