Our experience with this trail was a bit marred by our sheer stupidity in bringing our dog with us on a walk during very hot weather. At one point, the dog stopped and refused to keep going even though we gave her water throughout the walk. My husband had to carry her out of the woods. She was OK. She's a young, very active dog so be careful during hot weather. It was a good lesson for us (unfortunately at her distress). That said, the trails are very nice. The trailheads are hard to find. We drove around and around looking before finally finding one. Better signs along the roadways would be much appreciated. It's a good, long walk along the trails. We saw a lot of people bike riding. We didn't see much wildlife, but the foliage is nice.
