“What an "OOBER COOL" Place To Stay!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

Plain and simple if you have a multiple family/group trip planned to gulf shores this is the place to stay, hands down. Everything was phenomenal, the condo is over the top, floor to ceiling windows all the way around, and the balcony is spectactular. EVERYTHING was great!

The only negative there could possibly be is they only give you 2 parking spots in the parking deck. So if you have more than 2 cars, like we did, you have to park across the street in this dirt/sand/weed field, and the fun part is crossing the road with 50 mile an hour traffic in both directions! They really should put up a pedistrian walkway over the road, or put a push button pedistrian stop light in.

Other than that, no complaints at all, wonderful, great, fantastic, worth the money, and yes it is an OOBER COOL place to stay!!

Room Tip: Rooms on the higher floors, like ours, have a fantastic view, and help with reducing the pool and ro...

Although it is a little expensive, the Turquoise Place in Orange Beach was AWESOME!!!
The room was very modern and not too "beachy". The amenities were outstanding!
The lazy river, free DVD rental, pool, and beach access made this vacation my best
It was close to everything. I would most definitely recommend this condo complex to
Everyone I know!

Room Tip: Choose up high. It's bigger

Turquoise Place is like a cruise on land except you have to cook your own food. The pools, lazy river, indoor pool, hot tubs and beach front access are incredible. The condo is so comfortable, yet elegant. We had 6 adults and 4 kids with us and had plenty of room. Their was a mix up with our condo due to a mistake on behalf of Capri rentals and we ended up with a 3 bedroom, instead of a 4 bedroom, but we still enjoyed it. I would completely recommend this resort to anyone. Families, couples, etc.

This is a first class complex that is part owners and part rentals. The management company, Spectrum Resorts does a fabulous job keeping the place up. They also have a great activities for renters and owners to participate in.

Just "not a fit" would leave you wondering what kind of a review this could be. Let me begin by saying I would totally agree with every person that wrote how incredible the condos are, and how beautiful the beach is, so I will move on.

The information that I would like to add is that I think we went with an expectation that was not met due to the time of the year we traveled and the fullness of the resort. To me it had a cruise ship feel, by that I mean if one person did it everyone did it.

We traveled as a couple and looked forward to some quiet relaxing time to sit on the deck and listen to the ocean, however with a resort that lives out loud this was not what we got. When the pool zumba group is on everyone knows it and even on the top floors the music was unbelievably loud, and I love music. A band played at the poolside during the afternoons and again you heard it whether on your deck or by the ocean.

The huge decks are such a fantastic addition to the condo, however if you get by groups that are extremely loud on several sides as we did, again there goes your peaceful time. And by loud in some cases I just mean a lot of adults and children in one area enjoying one another which I am all for!

I want to add here that I struggle with personal rights which everyone there certainly had but I also struggle with common courtesy. We did call the front desk after hours of loud music, singing, and crudeness from a nearby condo. It was addressed, so in time the music did quiet down but seems not much the resort could do about the other behavior going on and it sure took away from our steak dinner and evening on the deck. The next night someone sat down on the beach and played there loud music for several hours, which again was there right. Again, I am not against joyful celebration, it just was not what we were there for.

I say all that to say, you will not find a nicer place to stay on Orange Beach. I would encourage you to pick your travel time and go here with your family and join in with the "entertain everyone" atmosphere that this resort does so well.

Our first time in Orange Beach and we picked the right place! Tripadvisor did not steer us wrong! I picked Turquoise Place based on the awesome reviews and was NOT disappointed! The condos are gorgeous, spacious, the staff is friendly. I love the assigned parking and security guards are at the entrance around the clock to make sure only those who belong are entering the property!
