“Food not good, slow service, over-priced.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013 via mobile

I was very disappointed with food, service, and price. We have eaten at Cobalt's previously and it was very good and we had good service. This time, my wife's filet was too spicy and when we told the waitress, it was like she didn't care if we were satisfied or not and never offered to get something different or anything. From a servers perspective, when a customer barely eats any of the food, it should indicate there is a problem, nevertheless, we told her anyway to no avail. When you pay over $100 for a meal for 3 people and are required to pay an 18% gratuity, you expect good food and service. NOT AT ALL!!!

“Best place to catch sunset in Orange Beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

Adjacent to the Caribe resort, this is a great restaurant with good ambiance and great food. There is usually a live band out on the patio and this is the BEST place to catch those stunning Orange Beach sunsets. Prices are of a wide range including reasonable fish sandwiches up to high priced special fish dishes. Something for everyone. NOTE: I give this place 5 stars, HOWEVER, we were there over Memorial Day weekend and had to wait 1 hour 45 minutes for a table. It was crowded due to the massive crowds on vacation. The food was over cooked and I have to blame it on the kitchen being slammed. I would say if it's super crowded, it could be iffy, which is the case with most any place. If nothing else, go have a drink on the patio and enjoy the band!

“Best food”

Great food and atmosphere. The firecracker shrimp is the best thing on the menu. We waited an hour but it was well worth the wait.

“Wonderful views, very good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

Can't beat sitting outside by the water at sunset. The food was very good, but our waiter had no idea what he was doing. Also mixed drinks were so-so. But we all enjoyed our food and the ambiance couldn't be beat. We ordered take-out from Cobalt a few days later and enjoyed it again, especially the yummy pork tamales!
