“Very nice, but dated”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2014

Very nice place to stay. The property is very dated, but staff makes up for it. The staff is very nice at the front desk, restaruants, pool, bar, and beach. Makes your stay much nicer. Food is good…breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We could only be at the beach a couple of hours and the guy at the beach let us have a good deal on the chairs/ umbrella. Rooms comfortable, just dated. Did find a hair in my bed which I totally hate to see! Valet is free, just tips. Were pretty quick and very friendly as well.

The Perdido Beach Resort provided the perfect backdrop to our week long vacation. The comments on tripadvisor helped me to select this resort for our family spring break vacation. It is in a great location with stores and restaurants nearby. It's true the staff was very friendly and made the stay even more enjoyable. Every aspect of the resort was great...music at the pool/lobby and the view of the ocean from our balcony. We stayed in the East Tower, which again was a suggestion here on tripadvisor. The rooms were nice and comfortable. We spent all but one day on the beach enjoying the sun and splashing in the water. I strongly suggest making a reservation for dinner at Voyagers. Excellent culinary experience! The breakfast in the café was affordable with a wide variety of breakfast options. Tried the pizza at the pool one day and was amazingly great. You will not be disappointed, give them a try. However, I must add the hotel could use a makeover. Some areas like the café look dated. Nonetheless, I recommend.

Room Tip: Stay in the East Tower. Close to the parking lot and easy access to the pool/beach doorway on the be...

My husband and I visited the resort on a ten year, long over due vacation, without our kiddos. Let me tell you it was worth the wait. The amenities and service were outstanding!! Blake is awesome, and needs a promotion!! He made our stay. His recommendation to Cobalt for lunch was right on. We're from south Louisiana so our seafood standards are pretty high. The food and drinks were delicious, and the view was beautiful. We had dinner that night at Voyager's inside the resort. The Crabmeat Bourbon Street was AMAZING,another recommendation from Blake. We stayed in room 416, which had a beautiful view of the gulf & the bay. If you want to be away from the action in a quiet corner, this is the room for you. Pool/Gulf view rooms will be great if you like to people watch, and be part of the action. The only tiny thing that was not just perfect is the dang mini sized bath room. There is a separate area for dressing, but the shower/toilet area is tiny. I'll just warn you, don't try to use the potty with the door open. You'll have to sit on the potty sideways or you'll bang your knee on the door!! Lol. I'm only 5'5" in case you were wondering.

We're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. Come back and see us soon, and even if you have the kids, we are happy to line up childcare for you and you can slip away for a romantic lunch. We hope to see you before 2024. That's just too long!

This resort was in need of a pick me up, service was slow except in valet and bell hop, they were fantastic. We enjoyed our stay, loved live music in the lobby at night and by the pool. Not sure I would drive 9 hours again to come back. But it was a decent property.

The rooms are old and outdated. We stayed on the 8th floor and it literally took more than 5 mins for the shower to get hot water. I ordered seafood in the restaurant and it was inedible. The food tasted bad and smelled like ammonia.

I recently stayed at the perdido Beach Resort and found it a very nice place to stay. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Kept clean by a very pleasant staff. The bar maintained a good stock of alcohol including my favorite scotch Macallan. The food servered by the Voyager was excellant. I had a mix of seafood and it was great. I would go back anytime.

Thank you to a wonderful staff for making our wedding day and night perfect! It would take all day to list everyone to thank for your hospitality! We were upgraded to a courtyard suite and it was perfect for all of us to have hair, makeup and family gather in the room. The room has a king bed with living area and a mini bar. I love the oversize bathroom and huge tub! For all the couples out there this is the room to have! You have a private balcony with an amazing view of the pool and Gulf of Mexico!
