“Take your kids for a trip back in time......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

We just love this local treasure. This museum does NOT charge admission. How often do you come across that, especially in this economy.? They only accept gracious donations. Our young child really enjoys coming here year after year as he grows and develops new intrests.

This museum has a section for antique toys and dolls and they are currently expanding their exhibits for a more descriptive engaging experience of Lee County's earlier days.

They now have a nice Native American section as well as a wonderfully accurate example of a kitchen of 100 years ago. My husband and I think that this is great for kids because they get to see right in front of them what life was like in the era when their grandparents (or in some cases great-grandparents ;) were kids themselves.

Definietly come, get out and get entertained by a leisure stroll around the museum for a really neat blast from the past! The staff is friendly, the place is well maintained, and this is such a nice way to spend some quality family fun time together.
