“Great Walk”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2013

It's a natural walking park with a small stream at the back. Cold water!! I went 6 times in 2 years because everyone who was visiting our home wanted to go. It's beautiful and something the entire family can enjoy.

“Great place to visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

If you have 1 or 2 hours (not including travel time) you can have a good visit at Natural Bridge. The park is an easy one hour drive west of Cullman in Winston County past Double Springs. All around is woodlands with the Bankhead National Forest along the north of Route 278, so look sharp for the park's entrance. The Bridge formation is very interesting. One can also explore moderately easy trails in the woods surrounding the formation. There are small streams in the area, so be wary of snakes in hot weather. However, the area is well attended, so wildlife tends to stay away except for birds--it is a nice place for bird watching and safe for children if they are supervised by an adult. The path to the bridge is flatter and wider than the trails not truly handicap accessible. It is lovely in autumn.

“beautiful to see.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

Wish it was made larger with a couple mile hike or bike ride. So many things to see in alabama but if its just for short stops hardly seems worth it

The walk is fairly easy. Just an overall peaceful place to calm your spirit. Take a picnic lunch and stay a while!
