I was shocked and amazed by the DEPLORABLE conditions of this facility-- My room looked NOTHING like the Internet photos of Lexington Hotel facilities (i.e. Orlando City Place), I should have made reservations to stay in the lobby as the "Lexington Montgomery" photo per their website is consistent with the actual physical lobby. I made reservations as part of a family reunion. After checking in, it took 20 minutes to find my interior room. I was amazed at how filty not only the facility was, but my room was equally as filty! Dirty stairwell, stained carpet in the hall leading to the room. " Do not touch/ Wet Paint " sign on a door down from my room. Once inside, I saw a stained chair ottoman. Standing water in bathtub with a dripping faucet, a rust stain in toilet, and a stained towel for use. I checked out after only 10 minutes, the front desk clerk didn't even ask me why I was leaving--guess she already knew... I drove to a new facility across the street and paid a nominal price difference for a CLEAN ROOM with CLEAN towels, CLEAN chairs, NO RUST STAINS in the toilet, NO STANDING WATER and DRIPPING FAUCET in the tub; free breakfast and a front desk clerk that cared enough to ask how my stay was.
This facility is dated, and overdue for renovation, despite being a recent acquisition from a major hotel chain. Property management should take a trip to Montgomery, check in to room number _ _ _ and see for themselves!
