Our family reunion was booked at this hotel. For the few who actually booked there, they were terribly disappointed.

Many more hotels in the immediate area that are much better.

This hotel is rated a 3 star it should be a no star. It was formally Holiday Inn and now it is Lexington Hotel. Save your money!!!! The first room we were placed in had mildew on the walls and ceiling everywhere. It was very dirty, my family and I were afraid to put our bare feet on the floor, so I decided to call Hotwire and tell them about our situation and they were willing to reimburse us, but we were exhausted from our drive. We ask the front desk for another room, at first they said they were booked and the parking lot did not have ten cars in it, so I knew he was lying. He said he would send a maintenace man up to look at our room, but instead they ended up giving us another room that was still in bad shape, but not as bad as the other room. This hotel needs to be renovated. If you like mildew and soiled walls then book Lexington.

We tried out Hotwire.....typically book directly through the hotel. Hotwire had a deal for $59 for a 2.5 star hotel. The hotel was the Lexington. We thought we had a steal when we visited the hotel website and saw how beautiful the property was portrayed. We arrived early. The front door was broken and open to the lobby. This was the second hint of what to expect. The first was the general appearance of the property as you pull up. The property is old and run down. The front desk clerk was friendly enough and the lobby did look nice. We were given a room on the outside in another building. We pulled up to the room and noticed several people loitering outside the building. This made us feel very unsafe. The exterior room door had peeling paint. There was small trash outside of our door as well as cobwebs. The inside of the room showed stains on the carpet and sofa. A ceiling with cracked plaster and bedding that was old and thin. This was a very run down room. We went inside the main hotel and could immediately tell that this was an old holidome. The pool had a film over the top of the water and there was a lot of young adults hanging around inside. We left. We did not stay at the hotel so I cannot comment on the breakfast or other amenties. As we heading back out to our car which was packed with our luggage, we noticed two people on the upper balcony who were looking down into our car. I took pictures of the room and the persons hanging out on the balcony. This place was digusting.

We were so excited to finally be able to get some rest after driving 6 hours. I thoroughly reviewed this hotel online as best as I could by researching online and calling the hotel itself. When pulling in to the hotel parking lot I was strongly disappointed..almost to tears. Lets just say that the attached Waffle House in the front of the building was in better shape than the hotel. The hotel was quite run down, I have no idea how they got some of the pictures they did of their hotel, pictures and advertisements were strongly misleading. My room had roaches in it and I strongly doubted that the sheets had been changed. None of the ice machines worked, the pool area was run down, most of the video games did not even work, the decor was nauseating and the breakfast was worse. Between the loud guests, being propositioned for drugs in the parking lot and the small, filthy, non-ventilated bathroom, I am positive I will not take my family here again. I felt unsafe and ripped off. For 10 bucks more you can stay at a Hilton just up the street that is much more appealing and safe looking.
