“Lattice Inn”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

We stayed in the Lattice Inn while visiting Montgomery, AL during the beginning of this week.
We found it to be a great place, well located, comfortable and affordable. Jim is the perfect Southern Host and expends a lot of energy to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. When we
return to Montgomery for another visit, this will be our first choice for a room.

We stayed in the Sandpiper Suite for two days in April and it was an exceptional value. Jim is a super-gracious host and was super attentive to our needs. Both the continental and cooked breakfasts were tasty and filling, our room had everything including a microwave and refrigerator, the bed was comfy, and the place was spotless. It's also an exremely quiet and peaceful place to stay. I highly recommend staying here...you won't be disappointed!

This is an unassuming place but very nicely located and very comfortable. Our host even met my wife and I on the curb the moment we arrived. Room was clean well appointed and large. Appreciated the fresh-made bread on nightstand too.
Very nice new hot-tub was perfect after dinner under the large oak and magnolia trees.
Breakfast was extensive with everything just right. Jim is very nice guy and know's how to run a first class B&B.
Thanks Jim

We will be back. We seek out B & Bs for their informality and the social aspects. The Lattice Inn does not disappoint. Our host, Jim, knew where is the best place to eat, to go to find the particular answers for our specific quest, and general history and geography of the area. Breakfast was imaginative and tasty, and the company was outstanding. The rooms were clean and spacious, with all of the amenities of a major hotel and then some. There is a library complete with a piano, as well as refrigerators and microwaves in the rooms. As a former Rotary International senior executive, Jim is the embodiment of "Service Above Self"

The host is extremely pleasant, open, full of attentions for the guests. He likes to share his knowledge and experience of Montgomery which adds to the enriching experience of visiting that city. The B&B is well located in a charming district.

This was my second visit to The Lattice Inn. What a fantastic place! Jim, the innkeeper, is extremely friendly without being overbearing. The room is amazingly comfortable and the outdoor hot tub is fantastic on a cloudless cool Montgomery night. Great alternative to chain hotels.
