“Great Sound”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

The activities at the center were part of the convention that I attended. Those performances were wonderful. However, getting to the seats could be better. In the upper levels individuals have to step over persons seated above the entrance to the facility.

“Platinum Dance Competition, Montgomery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 8, 2013

This was the perfect place to hold something as large and busy as a state dance competition. It was roomy, organized, and very beautiful.
For those interested, it is a wonderful place for the organizers of the national dance competitions. Jenny Lespi Dream Makers Dance.

“Very nice venue with a great sound”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

I saw Joe Bonamassa in concert and really enjoyed the show. The sound was great and it is a great size room. I would have loved to have stayed at the Renaissance Hotel, which is inside the same building but there was no vacancy. I do not believe there is a really bad seat anywhere.

“Nicely planned venue”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 5, 2012

Somewhat limited seat availability but a roomy layout. Plenty of rest rooms and concessions to handle the crowd without delay. Crowd flowed in and out without long waits. Actually found parking on the street but a parking deck is apparently adjacent.

“Great Facility”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

I've been to this facility twice now, each time for concerts. While parking can seem difficult, there is a parking deck (paid $7 for event parking), but it is quite a walk to the venue, but at least you are walking through the Renaissance Center to get there. IF you could find parking on the front side of the Renaissance Center, you would be closer to the "theater." Oh, the parking deck has TWO-WAY traffic, which most aren't realizing. Be prepared to move slow and with caution. This is fairly new, designed well, and is a great addition to the city. During intermission, if you are trying to get refreshments, go up a floor via the elevator to the right, tucked away in a corner. It's not nearly as crowded and service will be quicker. What I did notice during my last visit was that the two seats at the end of the row are larger seats. So if that is a requirement for you and yours, be sure to inquire about getting a larger seat. Acoustics are very good; after all, that's what this was designed for, and while closer seats are desired, the ones in the back are still good seats. There are many restaurants around the area for making your event a complete evening. Some are very busy, so you may want to make reservations.
