“Great venue; not a bad seat in the house!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2012

This was my first visit to ASF and I was surprised to see such a nice facility. The house is not large by some standards but it seats over 700 (my estimate) and is very well done.

If plays are not your thing, go to place to visit the grounds, have a walk around the park; it's got a little for everyone.

We went to see the "25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" and were thoroughly entertained; if other productions are even close to the quality of this one, you will be happy you went.

Given that Montgomery is not a large city, it's a pretty amazing thing to find such a nice theatre like this and I'm sure you will enjoy the visit.

“I can't believe Montgomery has this!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

Montgomery, or any small to medium sized city, would be lucky to have a theater like this. The plays and facilities are top notch. Great regional theater. The one disappointment is the number of plays have declined due to finances.

“Great entertainment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

We enjoy the Shakespeare FEstival. They have a good variety of plays and performances. Sometimes I take a grand child and sometimes I take my husband, depending on the presentation of the week.

“Great place in Montgomery”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2012

Whether you live in or are visiting the Montgomery area this is one place you don't want to miss. The small garden area is beautiful and the plays they have there are always entertaining. It is a wonderful place to enjoy year round.

“Great place to take a walk on grounds!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2012

Take your kids and walk the lovely estate. No need to just go for the theater. Fabulous regional theater. New and lovely seating--every seat has a good view.
