On a roadtrip south we stayed at a Drury Inn up in Horn Lake, MS, and liked it so much we made a reservation at the Drury in Mobile, AL, for the next night of our drive. This was a little older hotel but still looked very nice with a large lobby atrium. As noted, Drury has apparently started an evening buffet for guests along with the typical breakfast buffet. Food was quite good for both. Drury also does not charge for pets so our cat was quite happy with the place, too. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful, giving us the details on where to go to best watch that night's Mardi Gras parade. The facility was very clean, our room was spotless, and the beds great. One note for those of you who, like us, check the bedbugregistry.com. There was an older comment about this Drury Inn but based on our prior experience up in Horn Lake (which was clear in the registry), we decided to go there anyway. Given the clean nature of the hotel and the room, we had no problem whatsoever, and I would not have expected any (although, admittedly, looks can be deceiving). I would recommend this hotel.
