We stayed at the Courtyard Mobile on December 26, and despite being told by Marriott Corporate that the renovations were almost done, found out right before check-in that they were only halfway done. Because we were tired, we went ahead and decided to stay here despite reservation about the renovations. Upon check-in we were greeted by an excellent member of the staff, Corey, who happily and enthusiastically answered all of my questions, and even made sure we stayed in one of the rooms that had already been renovated. The room looked great, the bathroom was very clean and the entire renovated look was very stylish. With such a low rate, we were extremely impressed. The next morning, we went downstairs for the buffet breakfast ($7.50/person, kids 4 and under free) and enjoyed the fresh homemade waffles, eggs cooked to order and very friendly waitstaff. They spoke to my 4-year old and gave him crayons and paper and treated him like a real person (some places ignore children completely). The breakfast was all you can eat, and was great. If we ever go through Mobile again, we will be staying here!!!
