I am a videographer for a musical trio touring around the US this summer and we happened to stop in Mobile, AL. I purpose that day was to perform Random Acts of Culture on around the city (think Flash mob but only with a trio of musicians). We spotted Wintzell's Oyster House and wanted to check it out to see if the manager was interested in us surprised the lunch crowd. He was more than thrilled! We got such a great reaction both from the staff and the diners. Everybody was so thankful that the manager allowed us to surprised them with a song to lighten up their day. But we couldn't just play and then leave, I mean we were hungry too! So we stayed for lunch and were so thankful we did! The food was amazing!! I highly recommend the Oysters, obviously, but also the Seafood Gumbo, the Seafood Cole Slaw, and the Cream of Crab soup!
