This is a nice three star hotel. Its primary asset is its location overlooking Mobile Bay, though the shipyards are not particularly scenic. The staff of the hotel were very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were comfortable, but not spacious. The bed was very comfortable. The ceilings are a bit low for a luxury hotel and the carpet seemed cheap for what bills itself as one of the best hotels in town. The food was better than average for a hotel, though not spectacular.
If you have to stay in Mobile, this hotel is a fine place to spend a few nights.
