“Enjoyed our stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 1, 2013

This is the second time we have stayed here and were happy each time. The front office person was welcoming. Three motels in three nights and his welcome made such a difference. Room and bathroom were fine. Room overlooked a field and was very quiet. WiFi worked well. Was looking forward to the pool and spa after driving all day .The pool water was nice and sparkling but the spa water seemed a bit green and not too appealing. Breakfast was up to Country Inn standards. Would have liked real crockery and cutlery as they have in some Country inns. The breakfast room is a bit small, imagine it can get a bit congested but was OK when we had breakfast. Yummy cookies were available and did full justice to them.

Arrived at dark. Coming off the northbound side of I-65 and turning right to crossover just a few hundred feet down the road, it's very difficult to see the entrance to make the left to access road as it drops down and into a gas station, but you then make another left to hotel at bottom of hill in gas station. Front desk guys were very friendly. Room was clean and roomy. Restraunts a plenty just across I-65 to the west. Morning breakfast was great. Eggs, ham, bacon, and all the other usual eats at a Country Inn. Price was great also with coupon from Alabama tourist booklet from welcome center. Would stay again if travel brings us this way.

Room Tip: Top Floor Rear best.

We have stayed at Country Inn Suites however this one did not meet the standards we normally find at County Inn!
Pros: Staff was excellent, rooms very clean, good location
Cons: breakfast, No bacon? Sausage, don't know what it was, No biscuits and gravy like the other southern Country Inns?
Wifi....poor connections, would connect & disconnect, very erratic,
Not a Happy Camper at this one.

On our way to the Florida Beaches, we stopped at this Inn for the evening. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. They offer an excellent hot breakfast----not the usual cold continental breakfast. We had a great night's sleep, and would definitely stop there again. Something to be aware of, however, if arriving after dark, the entrance can be difficult to see. We missed it the first time and had to turn around. It wasn't a problem, but just be aware the entry drive is a bit hard to see at night.

Room Tip: We chose a room on the third floor (Top) and it was very quiet.

Beds - good, pillows - good, parking - good, air conditioning - good, internet - very good, TV - average, they need to be replaced as the picture just isn't that good, breakfast - average, except for the waffles the hot breakfast isn't that good, the cereal, fruit, juices, and other cold breakfast items are good. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The cookies in the lobby are always good. The hotel seems to be older but it's in pretty good shape.

Room Tip: Cookies in the lobby - select the ones in the back as they are the ones baked most recently. Ask the...

This was our first stay in a Country Inn and Suites and we were very impressed with this hotel. The staff at check-in were very friendly. The room was very clean, nice and the bed was comfortable. Hotel was very quiet. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Lots of restaurants nearby...we ate at the Outback and it was delicious. Would definitely stay here again!

I love Country Inns and this one didn't disappoint. We lucked out and got a room at the last minute. It was crowded but never noisy. We did have a little trouble with our water faucet in the bathtub, it was messed up, but once we figured it out it was ok. I would definitely stay here again. Staff was super nice. Pool area is great and hot tub was nice. Definitely recommend a stay here If you find yourself in the area.
