I don't know which hotel the other reviewer stayed at, all I can say is that we had a very pleasant stay. We and our friends have stayed here before and now that the renovations are completed its great. It is the only hotel/resort in Malacca that is built in traditional Malay style. The food was value for money and the staff very friendly. We recomend this resort for a pleasant relaxing stay.

This beach resort must be the worst place we have ever stayed in. As you drive up you realise that you have made a terrible mistake!!
The whole place is a disaster.
The chalets are dark, dingy and the bathroom towels were stained and filthy.
The food worse than bad!! and we have eaten in some dodgey places on our travels.
The swimming pool had a scum on the top and you wouldn't want to swim in it...mind you it is so small you would do one stroke and be at the other side.
The staff all seemed a bit embarresed to be working there and when we were there, there was only one other couple and they checked out..as did we after 1 night..we couldn't take any more.
The beach itself is dirty and the bit infront of the resort is mainly stones. The water is filthy.
We were so looking forward to our stay here but we are glad we checked out and found another hotel in the town centre.
