“Heritage Attraction”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

The buildings are well maintain, it is a must go tourist spot. Recommended to go in the morning so you can get a car park easily. We also tried the rickshaw, it's nice! You can find many cute rickshaw that are decorated in different themes, such as : Disney Princess, Hello Kitty, Doraemon etc.

“The Red Building”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2013

People may not know its real name but if visitors were to mention the red building, then the locals will know that it is the Stadhuys. Previously, it houses the Central Post office which is now moved to Bukit Baru. Now it is just another historical attraction with Christchurch Building and the Victorian fountain.
This attraction is always flooded with people especially tourists. One can take the beautifully decorated trishaw ride round the nearby areas for a small fee.

Its close for reno until 2014. When I was there a few years ago, it was worth visiting, join the guided tour for more insights to the exhibits in the museum.

“The feel of colonialization”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

For a feel of colonialization, Stadhuys is the place. It's beautiful though, buildings are red color (which I understood was white previously - read the history of this changes in color when you are there, interesting politics). Great architecture from the Dutch era are still preserved.
