The Courtyard is in the perfect location to explore the city where most tourist sites are within walking distance. It's only a stone throw away from the famous Jonker Street and the room is comfortable with the standard amenities all available.

My only compliant is the mosquitoes which seem to be very resilient to all types of insect repellant. Maybe the hotel should do more to control their breeding in the hotel grounds.

We had a lovely stay at this great boutique hotel. My sister had stayed here and had recommended it to us. We had arranged for the hotel to pick us up from KL airport and the driver was helpful and on time. The lobby is lovely with a pond full of fish which my 2yr old daughter loved. The bedroom was beautifully designed and laid out well. The only problem was the ants that seemed to raid the room if you left anything sweet out and I think this was because of the mini garden which is situated in the bathroom. Overall the hotel is well maintained with friendly and helpful staff. We enjoyed breakfast in the courtyard across the street and there was plenty to eat everyday.

We stayed in this hotel after all rooms in Jonker Boutique Hotel were fully booked. But I would say it didn't disappoint me at all. We were very happy with the hotel, the service and the workers there.

We paid MYR320nett with breakfast for a Deluxe Room for this stay. The breakfast was simple but good. The only setback is, please be extra careful when taking up the stairs at the lobby. My husband and I almost fell when we walked up the stairs to our room.

We would recommend this hotel to others as it is located within walking distance to all food places and historical area. You can find many famous food outlets around this area.

If you love Baba-Nyonya food, try Nancy's Kitchen. There are also many 'cendol' shops along Jonker Street.

Overall, this is a good trip despite the heavy traffic in Malacca.

This is my second stay at the Courtyard and it was another good experience. Staff are friendly and helpful and room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was simple but adequate. The hotel is nicely done up with Straits Chinese porcelain and furniture in the lobby and a nice outlet selling sarong kebaya leading to the breakfast area. Only minor grouse - tv reception is poor but wifi worked well.

We stayed for 2 nights over New Year, in a deluxe family room. While the room was a little small for our liking, it was great value. Staff were fantastic, accommodating, friendly, full of local knowledge and tips. The breakfast was across the road - we loved it! Laundry was cheap to get done, and a quick turn around.
Staff also organised a driver to KL. He was professional and had a reliable (new) car. Our kids loved the personal feel of the hotel. Would definitely recommend!

Melaka is one of my favorite short getaway, only 3 hours drive from singapore. So i come to melaka couple of times a year, and for the past few times i been staying at either equatorial or holiday inn. Recently my friend recommended this place and asked us to try it out, so we decided to give it a go. And true to their words, this hotel has the best customer service and the atmosphere of the hotel is beautiful. Staff is attentive and always smiling. The room is lovely, comfortable bed, powerful shower, decorated with lovely peranakan carvings. Breakfast is provided, buffet style with asian and western choices. Location is perfect, right in the center of the town, the weekend market is just nearby, and is it located near the melaka river and the nearby shopping malls. The only drawback of this beautiful hotel is there is no swimming pool. This will be my no 1 choice hotel in melaka for my future stay.
