“In poor condition”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012

First I don't know if it's the right place for this fort as it's not really one "organised" attraction but just a place free to visit.....
Yes the drive by bike to Cabo de Rama is great run, but the fort itself is in very poor condition. You can find one old cannon lying in the see side of the fort, which can be easily take out and restored.
The wall are in bad conditions and you have to be careful if you climb on them....

With some work ( like some done, for example, in Ranthambore Fort in Rajasthan ) this place will be beautiful !!!

“Good View But Need Maintenance”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 20, 2012

This fort is 10kms from Palolem beach. The condition of the fort is too poor.No maintenance. But it has a great view of the sea.Water here is torquoise green in colour. Not much tourists visit this place. It was almost empty when we visited. There is a stair case leading down towards the sea.if it is maintained properly it will become a popular destination.

“fairly ok”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

no idea what was to be expected, no detailed history of what we should ve seen there. i would ve preferred some guidelines or a board mentioning what we should ve seen there, and sign boards. the view from one of the post was good, you get a panaromic view of the sea.

“Awsome Place for Landscape photography”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

What happens when you have Lush green Mountains, Jungle & Blue water all at the same place same time? It’s truly magical. This place offers spectacular view of mountain ranges & Arabian Sea. You can spend hours watching marvelous mountain range & blue Arabian Sea. It located near Agonda beach in south Goa. The Journey from Agonda beach to the forts goes throw dense forest area & it’s really fun to drive on these curvy roads. The fort itself is not in good shape. There is very small fortification left. It’s very quite & sometimes there is absolutely no one near fort area. Couples / individual traveling please visit during day hours as road to this fort travel through Jungle & you can easily get lost inside fort as there are no directions. There are also some of spectacular views from Plateau just before fort.
