We were staying in Palolem beach, where there is a plethora of cheap beach huts. After staying one night in a particularly grimy one, we walked a bit further along the beach and came across the Marron beach huts. They too, are right on the beach, but are more expensive than some of the other huts, which were more suited to travellers.
We stayed in one of the huts on stilts, which gave us a great view over the beach. The room had a comfortable bed, ceiling fan (that worked!) and a good quality mosquito net. There was hot water in the bathroom, which is always a bonus after a day on the beach! There was a lovely balcony overlooking the beach - great for having a G&T and watching the sunset!
The staff were amazing and attended to our every need. And the food here was about the best that I had the whole two weeks we were in Goa.
I would recommend this to people who want to do the beach hut thig, but with a little bit more in the way of luxury!
