This hotel is outstanding. Have travelled all over the world and this is one of the best. Stanley and Ruena run a very tight ship by ensuring all standards are extremely high so that guests' comfort is exceptionally well catered for. Nothing was too much trouble and any request or enquiry was met with offers of help or doing the errand for us. The kindness and generosity of both owners is wonderful. Their many services including fantastically cleaning of everywhere, AC, free wi fi, a fantastic restaurant thanks to the great chef Raymond, laundry for Rs10 per item, fridge and mini bar, well maintained gardens and pool plus great location 2 mins from beach and shops. We stayed for just 11 nights earlier this month and we really didn't want to leave but sadly we had already booked and paid for hotel no. 2. We will be booking our No.1 hotel again for next Nov and will be staying a lot longer for sure.

In planning our trip to Goa we looked at a wide range of accommodation options, including the Taj and the Leela. We decided on the Kingstork based largely on the TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed. Kingstork is immaculately clean and very quiet located in an area that has a nice selection of restaurants and shops but is not too busy or noisy. The triple room we shared with our 11 year old was modern, quiet, clean and bright. The beach is right around the corner, about a 2 minute walk. The pool is small but great, as is the restaurant, and the food is very good. Service is friendly and attentive. I exchanged several emails with Stanley as our trip came together and found him to be extremely responsive and professional. He and his wife are as lovely as their hotel. We look forward to returning and to bringing our friends to the Kingstork.

The place is really good. Clean rooms, friendly staff and great food. The prawn Marsala we had were one of the best we had in Goa. The resort is conveniently located near Calangute beach
Negatives - can't think of any, just that you need to park your vehicle outside if you are bringing a car.

We generally swear by Tripadvisor when it comes to planning a vacation. Our screening of Goa hotels threw up Kingstork Beach Resort as one of the top-rated holiday destinations of 2012. Without a doubt, we went ahead and booked it for our 5 nights' stay in Goa. Quite expectedly, tripadvisor did not disappoint us. We simply loved our stay at Kingstork. Going by visitors' reviews we opted for a ground floor room which opens upto the pool at the back. I could simply open my balcony door and step into the pool! Stanley & Ruyena are amazing hosts and it is their personal attention to details that makes Kingstork a joy to stay in. Here cleanliness is the mantra, and simplicity is the catchword. The ambience is relaxing, specially at the restaurant in the evening. The food is good. The menu may not be very flattering, but the food is wholesome, and the warmth of Chef Raymond more than makes up for it. The decor is simple yet elegant and the greenery soothes one's eyes, as well as the nerves. The location of the hotel is just perfect - a 3-4 minutes' walk from the beach with some nice little restaurants lining up the street. I would recommend Kingstork to all travellers who are looking for a relaxing vacation in Goa.
One more thing for which Kingstork won my heart - my husband's birthday happened to fall during this time, and we requested Stanley if he could arrange for a B'day cake. He promised us one, and himself went out early in the morning and brought us a fresh chocolate cake back. That gesture of his was highly commendable.

Room Tip: The rooms on the ground floor open up to the pool, would recommend those.

Simple, Nice and Clean, Maintained by very focused and passionate couple. Close to beach, can go for walk at Dawn and Dusk, :). No room service though. But they have a good restaurant. We are vegetarians, they tried their best to accommodate us with veggie stuff, and my family was quite happy with food.

Kingstork Beach Resort is a hidden gem in Calangute. Run by a very charming Mr. Stanley Ferraro and his wife, it is their personal touch that makes your stay all the more special. I should also mention about the ever smiling Chef Raymond who's left his job with the Taj and Oberoi and have joined the Ferraros taking care of the kitchen. Its a small hotel with around 14 rooms just minutes away from the beach on holiday street in Calangute. You may find the taxi driver at the airport or the railway station not knowing the hotel, the best is to ask them to take you to Goan Heritage hotel which is well known in the Calangute area. Kingstork is just opposite to Goan Heritage at the corner.
The hotel looks good from outside and inside is sparklingly clean. Credit should go to Stanley's wife Rubena who personally supervises the cleaning activities every day. There is a small swimming pool which is very clean and an open type restaurant adjacent to the bar. Food is not allowed inside the room and there is no room service, one more reason for the cleanliness that is maintained in the hotel. The rooms are nice and are freshly painted, so are the bathrooms. All the upper floor rooms have balconies which overlook the swimming pool while the ground floor rooms have large glass doors which leads up to the pool. Lots of green around and flowers of the season will tempt you to take an early morning stroll around the property. I have tried to list down the things I liked about the hotel and the very few things that I feel can be improved:
Likings
1. Very clean, looks fresh and new. Cleanliness is an obsession here which is admirable
2. Minutes away from the beach which is not as crowded as the Calangute main beach. So you will like your solitude
3. The a-la-carte menu is decent and very tasty
4. The hotel swimming pool is well maintained
5. There is a small but good library at the reception if you want to pick up some reading
6. The staff is nice and smiling
7. Lot of green around the rooms. Seasonal flower beds, large flower pots add to the charm
8. The open restaurant is a nice place to whine away time or pick up a conversation with fellow residents
Things that can be improved
1. No tea/coffee maker in the room. In the absence of room service, you have to wait till 8 am when the kitchen opens
2. There is no concept of refilling drinking water. You have to buy your mineral water bottles everyday. This is phenomenon in whole of Goa, in restaurants that you are not offered drinking water and you need to buy it.
3. The complimentary breakfast menu is quite limited and it becomes boring after few days if you stay for a long duration. The choice for vegetarians is only corn flex. You can order from the regular menu though but that is chargeable

There are not many eating out options around the hotel. We tried one called Abracadabra and was not happy with the taste or service. The beach near the hotel has a
shack called Flying Dolphin which is quite good in terms of the food offered. The best way is to hire a bike or a self driven car. There is a bike hiring facility just opposite
the hotel and they were charging Rs. 250/day for Honda Activa. We hired a self driven Wagon R at Rs. 1000/day from a person named Jayesh (+9923474608). Once you
have a vehicle of your own you have plenty of eating options in Candolim, Baga and Calangute which are all within 20 mins from the hotel

Room Tip: Choose the ground floor rooms
