This sis a nice place in Goa, at a stones throw from the Calangute beach and most happening Baga road. You can access most of happening places like titos, britos, Sauza lobo etc within 10 -15 mins of walking.
The hotels has many rooms and have good standard. You can visit there with families
The place has small bedrooms with a balcony, and also sitting rorm for each room, nd clean toilets.... The swimming pool is small but is kept clean and hygenic which enhances the beauty of nearby restaurent. The restaurant serves good food and also good veg food for vegies....
Service is sluggish and room fidge is not maintained good conditions. But thats only negaitive we could find at such a nice budget hotel! So plan well to get better rates as most of times during oct- mar all these rooms are booked in advance! And perfect for a long stay with family!

We had visited Goa in the end of April & the start of May. We thought that this time being too hot, we might not have much crowd. But to our surprise, Calangute was full.

Reached Ticlo in the morning around 8.30 and had a nice welcome.

Our room was ready and we were directed straight to it. To our surprise, the room was quite big than expected. Infact it was a kind of suite, neat & tidy. Room # 2201. The bathroom was big enough and was cleaned everyday. We were there for 3 nights.

Breakfast inclusive in our stay was mediocre. Most of the time we ordered b/f from the menu and it was good and reasonable.

Food is good and ofcourse, liquor is dead cheap. The mini bar in our room was fully stacked and was emptied when we left. However, if you are in Goa you should try out the shacks rather the the hotels wherein you stay.

The hotel was very kind enough to let us stay till 1500hrs on the day of checkout and then kept our luggage till 1800hrs as our bus was to leave by 2100hrs.

Even the 2 wheeler rental guys are very good out there. U just need to bargain.

You can get in touch with Sam: 9822166984 for bike rentals. We had hired a Activa for Rs.250 per day.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. Thanks Ticlo.

Very basic accomodation, ideal for budget travellers not expecting much luxuries! Centrally located in Calangute with easy access to the beach, market and Baga. The breakfast was a let down though. The staff were very helpful ...

we stayed here for just over 3 wks jan/feb 2012, we had a great time, even if we did have to climb 3 flights of stairs a couple of times a day, our room had a spacious double bedroom, with bathroom, kitchen area with a fridge, and a lounge area to sit an watch tv (fridge & tv included), with a balcony, not much of a view as we overlooked chopsticks, lovely food thou, bit noisy come cleaning up. The room was cleaned whenever we left the key, we have been to coming to calangute/baga for 8 yrs now, and would definately book this again.

If u want dirty, basic and very, very cheap then go, but otherwise dont.
It was the worst hotel i have ever seen/ been to I looked at 4 rooms before I even put my case down. All the pic on the all the web sites make the hotel look sooooooooooo much better then they are! After traveiling so long to get there and seeing the first 2 rooms I just started to cry and wanted to go back home I kept on asking the staff to show me a clean room but they all looked the same. Broken tiles on the bathroom, dirty bed sheets, a safety box made out of wood with no lock. Dirt all round the toliet and not forgetting in the first room the toliet seat was broken in half.
Once i told the hotel staff i was not moving till they found me a clean room they they found me the fouth room which was still not the cleanest but at least it was liveable.
Once the shock had kicked in and i had many vodkas i woke up the next day to find out that for the whole hotel there was only 9 sunbeds. so to get 1 i had to be up by 7am as there was 6 of us. Then we all sat waiting for the sun, then we waited some more and some more till finally it come out at about 12 till about 4 as the hotel was so built up!
The Location was however wonderful (thank god) it was near to many bars and resturants.
For a very small cab fare you will get the best steak you will ever find (The Slizzling Ice). They was 2 bars where everyone who worked in them made you feel really welcome, the first was the Red Lion and the second was The Public Bar (both on crazy street), these both had the cheapest bars. Another very good bar was the Log Cabin where you will get really good english Karaoke.
The beaches are really nice the only thing that lets them down are the locals who will not stop taking pictures of you if you are white (especially if you are big and pale).
Dont get me wrong the bar staff at the hotel was good (very slow to make cocktails), always happy and friendly. Do however make sure that you pay as you go along or you will get a bill at either the end of the night or the next day with things on it that you have never even had.
Overall I did have a good time and i love inida and i will go back but just not to this hotel.

Room Tip: Do not go to this hotel as all the rooms are the same (DIRTY)!!!

Having stayed in goa 3 years before this one this is the best hotel we have stayed in. The room (824) was basic but clean and the hot water was plentifull. The food was good both taste and price wise and the bar on a night was very friendly with people wanting to talk to anyone who would talk back. Josh the bar man was excellent. Poll not the biggest but never used it always on the beach.

This is my 5th time in Goa and by a long way this is the worst hotel rooms i have ever seen.We went with friends who had never been to Goa so we picked a hotel central to all the bars/retaurants,i was so embarrassed when we were given rooms after telling my friends what to expext, the rooms we were given (both) were very tired, quite smelly and very very tired,we went back to reception to complain only to be told the hotel had no other rooms available so we were stuck, the rooms had a wardrobe and thats it,you live out your suitcase.I know its only a base and a place to sleep but the rooms had never been touched in years, isaw the same thing happen day after day after day, some people were lucky and got better rooms after three or four attempts.
Our rooms were in C block quite far from the reception,if your room is at the front your view is a rubbish dump if your room is at the back its a very run down area with barking dogs and fires burning rubbish.
Breakfast, forget it,tea and toast thats it,you want more you pay,go across the road, all you can eat R100 and fantastic.
Pool area, ten sun beds so no chance there, the pool is very cloudy so never went swimming also the pool side had lots of missing tiles which are dangerous and the plastic guards around the pool side are also damaged, its a disgrace.
The reception/bar/eating area are very well kept but be warned your drinks bill will have much more on it than you drink, this happened to many customers when we were there,if you decide to pay as you go you will wait 15mins to process one drinks bill, just keep a note to be sure.
On the last day our flight was delayed,we paid R1000 to keep the room for another night our friends were told R2400,the hotel staff are opertunists.
I wont be back there.
On a posative note the people we met there were fantastic, the restaurant is spot on and the entertainment is ok,i havent made as many friends in my life,it was funny watching people go to their room then come back to reception then go to another room then come back, the record was four attempts before they got an acceptable room. This hotel could be fantastic but the Indian owners are too busy making money.
Please go to another hotel, stay there if you wish but at least you know what to expect.

Room Tip: complain till you are happy,if you want a good room pick another hotel.
