Very nice hotel,very comfortable,good food.
And very caring staff from top to bottom - from GM,Wilfred Fernandes to Joyce to lady guest relation executive (sorry forgot her name), waiting staff, cooks in the morning for breakfast, lady in charge of HK,room boy, all of them.

My husband and I were staying in Goa for 3 weeks, and had booked the last leg of our trip to stay at Casa de Goa, to celebrate my 40th birthday. We stayed for 9 nights in total.

When we pulled up outside the resort in the taxi, we were immediately made to feel welcome, from the security guard out front, to the reception desk check in, and then finally our butler, (Super) Mario, who prepared us a delicious welcome drink and then showed us to our villa, where our cases were already waiting for us.

We declared it "the best morning ever!" as we unpacked and got to grips with the iPad system, which controls the lights, TV etc, and then relaxed on the VERY comfortable sun loungers.

Even though Casa de Goa is in Calangute, it is not on the main Calangute / Baga road, and indeed, once you are inside the surroundings, you step into such tranquillity, you could be almost anywhere in the world, it was SO peaceful.

Special mentions to ALL the staff, who helped to make our stay so special, we were on first name terms with all of them by the end of our stay, and needless to say, we were very sad to leave.

We will definitely be returning to the Casa de Goa and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone.

Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Room Tip: As it was my 40th birthday, we splashed out on a villa (room 101), which was beautiful.

I always research a lot before i book a hotel in Goa. We visit Goa atleast thrice a year. This year it was like a back to back visit. We had been to Casa De Goa in August end and stayed for 3 days. My office friends too joined us. What a stay we had. Calangute mainroad market./beach route is just 15 mins walk from the hotel. There is an inner route which takes you to the beach's silent area in just 10 mins. Food is amazing with a good variety during breakfast. The food/drinks menu has something like you name it and they have it. My son got friends with all the stewards and the life guard. The front desk is also very co-operative. I just loved their hospitality that i did my bookings again for my September month end stay in the same hotel without any hesitation. This is the first time we have repeated any hotel in Goa and i wouldnt mind staying in this place again... just incase i dont find anything better than CASA DE GOA....

Room Tip: Every room faces the swimming pool. Go for a room on the ground floor which has direct access to the...

We hadn't pre-booked any place, since we were in Goa during the off season. Had done some internet research, and thought we'd strike a deal there and then. Worked out pretty well for us, since we saw the property, all of us (surprisingly) unanimously liked it, and checked in. They did bargain a little since it was off season and we were students, I think we managed to pay 25% less than the rack rate. Not exactly a budget hotel, yet worth the money. We spent a lot of time in the pool, and didn't really feel like stepping into the water on the beach thereafter. Much quieter than your standard Goa hotel, the best place to have a quiet drink is the balcony in the corridor. After we were sufficiently inebriated, we moved on to the nosier and more expensive pubs in Baga (although they were not great). A few suggestions of places that you could use nearby -
1. There's a bike rental guy around 100 meters from the hotel, bargain-able prices. A Goa trip is not complete without renting an Activa.
2. There's a supermarket which is a 10 minute walk, near Calangute circle (I forget the name but I think it's something starting with M) where we bought our beer from. They give you beer by the crate (which works out cheaper). The staff did not object to us carrying the crate up to our room. We chilled the beer in the mini bar and took it down with us to the pool and the beach.
3. There's a nice Irish pub down the lane. If you follow football, they play matches there and it gets quite lively.
4. Restaurant called Infantaria which has very good Continental cuisine. Try the cashewnut Fenni there (that's a locally brewed spirit) mixed with Sprite.

Room Tip: We stayed at their Standard Room, which was fine. If you have a better budget, you should take the s...

we stayed here for 2 weeks in February for my 50th birthday, the staff were friendly efficient and attentative. I could find nothing to complain about at all and would definitely recommend this hotel in fact it was so good we have booked another 2 weeks in November this year........bring it on!!!

Room Tip: all the rooms we saw were great with the suites being exceptional but quite pricey.

We had planned a short weRestaurant trip to goa, so looked for a beach side hotel. Although it's not exactly on beach side, but it's a close walk.
Rooms were really plush and had a good feel to them which made us happy.
Pool was clean and nice.
Restaurant staff were jovial and keen to make the night amazing.

Room service was not so nice.
Services were a bit on the pricier side.

Its a very decent, small hotel located pretty close to Calangute beach and very accesible by Baga as well. The rooms are pretty nicely done and kept clean. The small swimming pool and rooms overlooking it give the place a cosy feel. Breakfast served is a smallish spread but managable.
