“Pretentious nonsense,”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013

Average food, service and settings at an over inflated price, if your tempted to eat at this venue do yourself a favour buy a packet of crisps and empty the contents of your pocket into a beggars bowl, you'll feel better at the end of the day.

“Wonderful experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

Visited this restaurant on 13th March 2013. Restaurant was virtually full and no wonder the food was superb. I started with. Crab timbale with apple and tarragon followed by chicken breast in a wonderful sauce. Im not normally one for afters but the chocolate mousse with Cointreau was too good to resist. My fellow guests had mushrooms or prawns for their starters which were equally well received . Steaks were cooked to perfection . The menu is full of wonderful dishes and I could have chosen at least six mains. Service was excellent and at round £48 including coffees with brandy all round represented outstanding value. Well done all concerned

“Still the place for the best steak”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

We have visited Chef Soumyens kitchen on many ocassions since it was opened. For its type, the restaurant is probably the best in North Goa. Typical of the P&O trained chef that he continues to provide the service expected of his training. The steaks are something special and they can actually cook 'medium rare' just right. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent atmosphere and albeit more expensive than other restaurants, the price represents very good value for what you get. It is not the number one rated restaurant Goa by accident.

“Very Quiet”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013

Visited Chef Soumyen`s Kitchen on the recommendation of a friend, the food was good and not expensive, but, you need a Taxi to get there from Candolim, and when we were there It was very quiet, there was only one other table occupied and the atmosphere was non existent, if the place had been busy it may have been better atmosphere wise.

Steaks are amazing here and service excellent. The chef/owner comes out to introduce himself and is very friendly.

Well recommended.
