“Perfect for Water Sports”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2014

One lovely Beach close to Pernem , Goa. The place, as locals call it is known as ‘Little Russia’ owing to density of Russian immigrants. I did not stay at the Beach Resorts but did visit it for a few hours during our conducted-tour. What caught my attention was a high majority of Foreigners on the beach, which is why the culture of the place is notably different from the other beaches in Goa. It’s more modern and has some interesting adventure-sports such as Para-gliding and Water Scooters. The water around this part of Goa is amazingly placid, which makes it conducive for such high-adrenaline water sports. The other benefit of Water-Scooter is that one could very closely watch Dolphins right in the midst of the vast ocean. Highly recommended for Sports buffs.

“Nice clean beach.. less crowded!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014 via mobile

It's a clean beach.. shacks are better than the commercialised beaches elsewhere in goa. . Food was good.. approach Road to the beach is beautiful.. You see the river on one side of the road and small huts on the other..If you fancy house boats then stop by the river.. overall glad that we visited this beach.. Definitely one of the best beaches in North Goa..

“Nice quiet beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2013

Brilliant. A complete contrast to the bussle of Candolim. It was really lovely and we stayed in a coco hut on the beach, which allowed us to watch the sun go down and walk along the beach in the evening and an early morning walked and watch the yogo.!

“Beauty and Worth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 27, 2013

It was a trip with friends to Goa and we decided to explore new beaches and this beach had a day marked... This beach is awesome... Its about 30min drive from Baga area towards north... The roads are good to reach. . We had rented a jeep and i must say the drive was awesome... The sea here meets with the river zuari.. So that makes the water relatively less salty... The seabed is as well very flat and v felt highly safe... We couldn't experience high tides here.. As well, crowd was far less compared to what v see in Goa's famous beaches....
The moment v reached , almost every shack staff was inviting to their shack with offers like 10% discount.. Free beach bed.. Etc... Do bargain and one might find a great deal... The food was good in the one where v had...
All in all... One can spend easily the whole day here having lots of fun...

“What a find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2013

We took a taxi from Baga 5 times in 2 weeks we loved it so much it was about 40 mins drive. A huge beach which feels like you have it to yourself, the indian Ocean is warm and lovely to swim in. Go to the 'S2 beach shack' where the food and service are amazing, so friendly and nothing is a problem. Sun beds and beautiful beaches and the most amazing fresh seafood bought in daily. There are beach huts which you can stay in there as well! We will be going back to morjim and the S2 next time were in Goa :))
