Well, they seem to have a really good chef. Been here almost thrice in the past one year, because whenever we have a long weekend we just go down to Goa and whenever I am in Goa, Anjuna is a must and Anjuna for me is mostly Shore bar. Anjuna as a beach is a bit crowded and Shore Bar gives a welcome break from the crowd, you will be the only people here or maybe a couple of others. We always take a table, have a glass of their delicious green apple martini ( a bit diluted i guess, since I was up and about after having almost a pitcher of it!) and then keep our stuff there and hit the ocean. It is situated on an elevation so it kind of gives a view from the top on the beach. And the food is more than delicious. The food in general in Anjuna and even other places in Goa mostly cash in on the freshness of the produce and not the culinary expertise of the chef. But here it indeed is both, comparable to any upmarket restaurant in Bombay. I was here once almost three years ago too, they seem to have revamped the place and gone in for some chic decor. However, it is a bit more expensive than all other places in Anjuna, that explains the lack of crowds I guess.
