A well designed 14 room hotel in Anjuna right next to German Bakery was our pad for the Anjuna leg of Goa tour. Owner Sumit Yardi is a passionate hotelier and that shows the way he has mounted the layout and have used mood lighting. And since he personally manages his property he is almost there with tips and recommendations on places of interest and restaurants. Eager to share his experience, he really makes you feel comfortable and at home. I have been in Goa many times previously, but I think here is a winning USP for a budget property in a place which has a large number of such options. Also his idea of a open library and using the banyan tree as a highlight comes out well.
All rooms are self contained, with breakfast options. A 5 minute walk will take you to Liliput Cafe and Elephant Art Cafe. A bike rent is provided at the gate of this hotel so you are basically set up the moment you land here. And great restaurants like La Franza, Orange Bloom and boutiques like Artjuna are all within walk able distance. As also Curlie's though I thought of late it has become very noisy and commercial as a beach shack.
All stars from us to Banyan Soul.
