“GREAT value for money !!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

If you don't hold the unreasonable expectation of getting a 5 star hotel for $30 a night, then you won't be disappointed! Lotus Inn has good sized, clean rooms, clean bathrooms, a large clean pool, good food and is ideally situated in the idyllic, chillum-filled, colourful Anjuna / Vagator. Its tucked in a quiet lane so its peaceful with no traffic, noise, etc. They also conveniently offer bikes and cars for rent. A bike runs about Rs 200-250 per day and a car is Rs. 800-1200 per day depending on the car and time of year. All in all, a great stay for anyone on a budget!

overall experience was good...the rooms was big with all the amenities inside...there was a minor glitch but the same was fixed as the plug for tv and fridge were same and we requested for additional plug, after reminding twice we got a spike guard through which we could use both the appliances...the food you get in the hotel is more than average but you can try different food joints when in goa ;) the room was cleaned on request with fresh towels and toilet rolls provided everyday...the bathroom was not sparkling clean but good to use...running hot water 24hrs which was a plus point...now coming to the best part of the property was the swimming pool.....the huge pool left me wanting for nothing else while in goa...the water was clean and i enjoyed every bit of it...the owner has 2 big german shepherd dogs who can give you the feeling of security :)... the property is a bit far from baga and calangute but close to anjuna and vagator....safe for anyone to travel....one can lounge around playing pool/carrom or just watching tv at the reception...my overall stay was pleasant ....a quick update to share .....the property will soon go under renovation...if the stay charges remain reasonable like what i got....would definitely think of coming back...thumbs up for lotus inn, vagator :)

Room Tip: one can get bikes on rent easily from the reception

Traveled with friends and needed the hotel only to sleep over. Rooms are ok, not that great - they're not "spotless clean". We stayed during the off-season and maybe that explained the drained swimming pool. the little space of green landscape they have is nice and picturesque. Average food, the staff were polite. the Vagator beach is about 20 minutes walk - one which we enjoyed walking. if you don't have your own conveyance it can be a bit tricky to find local transport from this location. we got lost trying to reach the location. the rates are good for what they offer.

This is a place my brother recommended for quick visits when you don't wanna spend too much on the living. A decent budget hotel near Vagator beach, away from the Hustle Bustle but near enough to go around the beautiful beaches of upper North Goa and also towards Baga/Candolim. The rooms, pool and area was clean however, the only drawback was mosquitos. There were loads I guess because of the greenery around. They should have mosquito repellents in the rooms as the coil doesnt help.

Food was good and so was the staff. Overall a decent experience and good enough place for a short visit unless someone is looking for something luxurious.

Room Tip: The Rooms with an additional bed 2+1 are new and clean and one should choose those for staying.

We found this hotel during a recent visit to Goa. We didn't stay there, but just had breakfast. Initially from a distance the main building looked quite impressive, however when getting closer it looked quite tired, which was a shame. The toilet facilities also left a lot to be desired. The breakfast was also very basic, not well presented and did take a long time to arrive.

We are always looking for hotels for friends to stay, sadly this won't be one of them.

its pool is awesome .rooms were clean ,i stayed in luxury/bigger room which is good (I will prefer select that room only).
Food is cheap and good(indian food).
Only one thing i didn't liked about this hotel is room service ,they don't have working phone in room so you need to go to reception to get something in the room..

if you have don't have higher budget then i will prefer go for it.
its value for money

right the staff are useless , the rooms are okay but way overpriced and they steal from guests

what they need is a western management to make this place good , instead the staff blatantly dont care , also check you tabs as they add stuff to it
