Our firm rented out the entire Mentone Springs Hotel last winter for a company retreat. Built in 1894, the hotel has been renovated but it's period and rustic charm remains.
To say we were spoiled by the staff would be a huge understatement! Greetings at the door by the inn keeper and being escorted personally to your period antique filled rooms will make you feel like your visiting family!
After all-day meetings and a specially prepared dinner, everyone enjoyed gathering by the huge stone fireplace, a work of art unto itself.
Surrounded by deep leather armchairs and couches and hardwood floors with beautiful Persian rugs, it was the perfect place to unwind. The soft tones of conversations and the warmth of the fire replaced the cacophony of a hectic modern life with a truly peaceful, easy feeling.
Those who preferred the solitude for unwinding loved the cozy sitting room nooks found throughout the hotel and the large Jacuzzi tub in the corner suite.
Our firm made great use of the very large dining area in one wing of the hotel. It was perfect for meetings during the day and delicious meals in the evening, complete with white table clothes and candles. There is even a small ballroom if you need it.
If you enjoy being off the beaten path, unique places and period antiques, this is your place.
Ask for the corner suite with the large Jacuzzi tub!
