For a small town in Alabama, this place is nice. The room has a living room and then a second room which is the bedroom. The beds are sleep number beds and very comfortable. Front desk is friendly and helpful. Booking through bookingbuddy.com will get you the best rate. DON'T stay at the suburban lodges extended stay off of university drive. We checked in for 4 days and left promptly the next morning. The bed was old, lumpy and of questionable quality when it was brand new there was a strange smell in the room and the bathroom was unacceptable.. It appeared as if strange "activities" where took place at odd hours of the night. AVOID at all costs!

The two kids and I rode with the hubby for a business meeting in Huntsville and booked this hotel on priceline. First of all, this hotel is in an awful location - there is no where to eat except the overpriced on-site restaurant and a dodgy looking pizza place across the street. When I arrived, the clerk asked for my credit card and I assumed it was for verification purposes since I already paid through priceline. When I asked what time the complimentary "cooked-to-order" breakfast that was advertised was, I was told we didn't get that because we didn't book directly with the hotel. Strike one. The next morning, my hubby leaves early for his meeting, and the kids and I plan on sleeping in. I lock the door and put the "do not disturb" sign on the door. Around 9:15, someone knocks on the door and before I can even get to it, housekeeping uses their key to barge in the room. So my three year gets woke up and it scares me to death! They don't even apologize. Strike two. By the way, the sleep number bed is overated and the bathroom was dirty. So we finally leave and get back home to find we were charged twice for the room- once by priceline and then again by the hotel. I called Radisson and the clerk doesn't even apologize, only tells me she'll take care of it tomorrow. Strike three for the Huntisville Radisson Suite.

A great business hotel. Rooms are suites and very spacious. And staff are very helpful especially the "Will Smith" look alike on reception, for who nothing was too much trouble.
Hotel is a little out of town but is only a 10 - 15 minutes drive down the Memorial Parkway. There are a few good restaurants and bars within walking distance. But for a few dollars one of the reception staff will drive you any were you want and even pick you up later.

I've stayed at the Radisson (numerous times) and absolutely loved it. I've stayed twice in the last month (and many times in the past) and have always thought that this was the nicest property in town. Very clean with brand new beds, chairs, sofas, furnishings, Duvets, etc (sleep number beds...very comfy).

I checked in many times during peak check in and found the desk well staffed and able to check people in quickly. You can't say that about a lot of hotels. My room was a very clean and spacious suite both times this month (and I can't really think of a time when it wasn't in the past).

I was also here during the time when the water was out from midnight to 6am (mentioned in another post) and I know for a fact that this was a city problem (broken water main). My clients company is near by and the third shift was w/o water as well. For what its worth I've been staying here a long time and have seen consistent quality at this Hotel. I love the staff (know more than a few personally) and recomend it.
