A bar with good food !?! ...Drake's ...a fun bar type atmosphere with good food. Anything from sushi to burgers and they have lots of different kind of draft beers. Hard to find a table but worth the wait. Also the servers are very attentive and want to make you happy. If you're looking for up-beat, fun and good food...check it out.

Drake's is just what Huntsville needs: festive atmosphere, good food, and draft beer choices. Based on the crowds, every time I've been, I'm not the only one impressed with this new establishment. Everything I've tried has been delicious, buffalo chicken mini's & soft tacos, burgers, and fish & chips. The table tap option is a unique and fun way to make sure your glass is never empty. The prices are reasonable and the place is always fun. On a nice day, the garage doors are up creating an open air atmosphere. The only down side is due to it's popularity, finding an open table can be a challenge. Since Drake's is a restaurant/bar, it's first come, first serve on seating, so during peak hours you may be out of luck. If you are able to grab a table though, you'll be in for a good time and good food.

We visited Drake's 4 nights after its Grand Opening (it was very crowded). The weather was warm that night so they had the front windows / doors open. It's first come first serve for tables (no hostess) so be prepared to walk around the restaurant looking for a table. Our wait was about 20 minutes but one of the workers helped us to get a table. Drake's has 2 bars and a sushi bar plus several TV's. The food was ok but it is a great place to visit if you like beer. Tons of choices plus they will even bring a table tap to your table (90 ounces). The service was great and everyone is friendly. Not exactly an ideal place to take children but definitely a great place to take a date or hang out with friends.
