“Excellent place to go for a special occasion or entertaining friends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2010

Currently one of the best Restaurants in Huntsville. Jimmy Boyce, one of the top chefs in the country was lured to Huntsville to open this incredible restaurant. He has some very creative dishes, drinks and wine and beer list. The beef short ribs is the best thing on the menu, however, the fish and other seasonal entrees are very good as well. The Grilled Romaine Hearts salad, the fresh seasonal soups, and Egyptian Beets are staples on the menu. Their drinks have a Southern flair (Southern Ice Tea, Lavender Lemonade, etc). The desserts are very good and the Peanut Butter and Jelly in Phyllo dough is a great creation!

“Looking for a 5-course meal and a great martini?”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2010

Cotton Row is located downtown across from the courthouse and offers reliable valet parking. It is a fine-dining bistro with an elegant ambiance, high ceilings and refined white-linen service. On pleasant evenings the sidewalk seating is open Parisienne style. I have been there many times and plan on returning soon. I like to go about 5:30 or 6:00 right after work. Business attire is fine...I don't think they will turn anyone away if not sporting a tie. I understand it is locally owned but the chef spent many years in California honing his considerable talents there. I personally am glad he chose to come to Huntsville. Every visit is a culinary delight. The inspired soup, salad and appetizer creations have a San Francisco flair and are always interesting. The entree list is always well-conceived and prepared to specifications. Some are quite unique and stimulating, especially if you like French cooking. The ample wine list and the kind-of-wild martini list never dissapoint. We had our Christmas party there in their special party room and all said it was the best we've ever had.
