Ordered Pad Thai and a Maguro appetizer.
Sat on the patio. Patio seating will be nice when the construction across the street is finished. It's shaded in the afternoon and was comfortable for a summer afternoon. Traffic was a little heavy on the street just a few feet away, but I was there just as everyone was heading home from work.
I was surprised that the Maguro was as good as it was. We have some pretty good sushi in Charleston, and I didn't know what to expect in Huntsville. Sushi here gets a 4.5 / 5.
Pad Thai came out as expected. I added some limes to it from the bar. Ordered Thai-Hot. First few bites were too tame, so I added some more chili sauce. Come to find out, it just wasn't mix well. The heat was at the bottom of the dish. Excellent flavor. Thai-hot was exactly what I expected. Probably the second best Pad Thai I've ever eaten
I was there on half-price bottle wine night (Wednesday), but I did not have a bottle since I was dining alone, so I can't speak to the wine selection.
Waitress was excellent. Hostess was a little difficult to understand. (English was a second language; an Asian language was obviously the first.) However, I thought it really added to the atmosphere of the restaurant and wouldn't have it any other way.
Bottom line: I still have another week in Huntsville, and I will probably return before I leave town.
