I've played this course a couple of times. The real fun in playing this course is encountering the wildlife; snakes, turtles, and alligators are the highlight of this place. The golf course is average. Just a plain Jane 18 hole course. Not a lot of imagination in the layout. It is your normal municipal course. The benefits are the price; it has been way more affordable than most of the other resort courses in the area. If you play golf only on vacation and you're on a budget, this is a great place to get a golf fix. If you're a more advanced player and don't mind spending a pretty penny, look up some other courses.
Benefits: Cheap, lots of nature to see, and a non-challenging layout
Cons: Cheap, sometimes the nature you see wants to eat you, and it's a non challenging layout.
Basically, it all depends on what you like in a golf course. But to sum up, if you're wanting a resort course, go elsewhere.
