“STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

First, I stayed here before and it was ok. It's been 3 or 4 years since then. Now, horrid rooms, horrible service, and definitely will NEVER stay here again. Checked in, received room key, walked in the room, it smelled like a bait shop. I have never changed rooms before, but had too. New room was much better, only had a king bed and pull out bed from the couch(kids slept there). My fault for assuming there would be sheets, pillows, etc. for the pullout (dead wrong). TV remote didn't work, took it to the front desk where I'm told they have no batteries (given new remote which didn't work either). Absolutely unacceptable will not stay again.

This hotel is one of the few places near the beach that would accept a dog. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel is directly across from the beach. We enjoyed spending time in the outdoor pool which has a view of the ocean. The hotel serves a complementary breakfast which was decent but portions were smaller than we are accustomed to being served in similar establishments. They are located near shopping and plenty of restaurants.

This hotel is good. Could be better with a little help. The room had paint imperfections as did the bathroom. However the bathroom was newly remodeled. The service was nice and the breakfast was good as well. These reviews tend to be negative. I can say that my stay was not that bad and I would stay again.

This is an old hotel that definitely would benefit from an update. The room was adequate, larger than average, included a refrigerator, functional bath, and beds. The outside structure showed signs of ageing, I did not eat breakfast so I can't comment on that.

Average stay. Rooms were decent. Booked online out of fear of not finding last minute room elsewhere. Would only stay again if there was no where else left there to stay. Breakfast was nothing spectacular.

I would have been better off sleeping in the dumpster. The floor was HORRIFIC! The Sheetrock had holes in it, mix matched paint, and a fist hole in the bathroom door. The tile job in the bathroom must have been done by a 3 year old. There were huge gaps filled with black 'unknown' so you have to wear shoes at all times! You know the bed is trash when your back hurts the next morning and you are 26 years old. The bedding is the scratchy stretchy comforter so prepare to only use the top sheet. The door latch had been torn off so you will need to sleep with one eye open. Don't bother calling for extra towels or blankets because the front desk can't be bothered. There were people loitering in the parking lot all night. The only 'positive' thing this place offers is the bar up front, presumably to get you drunk enough to overlook the rest. This place should be condemned.

The room was clean and smelled nice, but it is an old place that hasn't been remodeled in a while. The biggest disappointment was the 'free breakfast'. You had a choice of either (2) pancakes, or (2) eggs, or (1) biscuit with gravy, or a burrito. There were no exceptions and it was pathetic. If they're going to serve breakfast, then lay it out, buffet-style so you can have a choice. There was NO breakfast meat at all. If you're going to do an inadequate job, then they should just save themselves some money and not even offer it! Ridiculous!

Room Tip: The elevator needs a/c or a fan...terribly hot.
