Decided to pop down to the beach for a quick overnight stay. My family loves to visit Gulf Shores anytime we can. Most of the time we will rent a home/condo on the beach but since we only had one night to be away from home, I searched for a hotel. The Phoenix All Suites hotel was an excellent place to stay. The kids slept on the bunk beds In the hallways, my husband and I had a king size bedroom ourseleves and my older daughter and friend slept in the living room on the sofa bed. The hotel sits right on the beach next to the Hangout. We loved sitting out on the balcony that overlooks the pool. Very clean and having a kitchen is a plus. Hope to stay here again when we have longer and only traveling with the immediate family.

Room tip: All are great.

Great beach view & good view of Golf Shores out the front. There were complaints about elevator speed. You're on vacation, slow down. Longest wait? 20 sec. Good walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Pink poney & Hang Out right next door. Rooms are OK. Small but we don't spend that much time in the room. Comfortable & a kitchen.

clean, updated, full kitchens beautiful view close to main road but still quiet. Easy beach access but very small pool. No bugs. Affordable with several restaurants and souvenir shops in walking distance would definitely stay here again

This is the perfect place to stay. We were right next to the hangout and it was great. I had no idea that the hangout offered kids stuff. The hotel was so nice. The rooms are equipped with Fiesta dishes, Tupperware containers and just a great room.

These are condo style rooms, all beach front. We had a 1 bedroom queen #804, it also had twins in the hall and a pull out sofa. Bed is comfortable with a firm mattress, however the frame and slats need adjusting. The frame was loose and squeaked when you just turned over. Kitchen is nice size with small stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. 1 full bath and a 1/2 bath. The full has a small vanity, so you can't spread out much, the 1/2 needed a mirror. Overall the room was clean, however shower curtains and commode could use a bit more elbow grease.
The pool is long and narrow so not much activity there....Location is great, Pink Pony Pub is right beside and walking distance to lots of places. The safes were being changed so we didn't have access, so we opted for no maid service/do not disturb and just picked up towels. For the price we would stay here again.

Room tip: These are all Ocean Front, we chose the 8th floors, as at night the music from The Hangout can be loud and we liked the view. Otherwise I think all the rooms are basically the same setup
