My husband and I are frequent visitors to the Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach area and one of our favorite places is Duck DIner. In contrast to other area restaurants, it does not cater to the "touristy" crowd. The food is excellent and home cooked. The wait staff is very friendly and they will make anything you like or change any menu item to fit your needs or desires. The setting is off the main roads and is pleasant and quiet. Overall, this is one of the places we look forward to visiting the most!
