Great facilities. I choose Emerald Greens for a 6 month temporary housing for busines since the units were build to be condos. The walls are paper thin, and when I moved in the unit was quite dirty. The I went through two vacum bages the first time I vacumed, the carpet was the worest. The bath tube also needed cleaning before using. The management team started to play games right from the start . They wanted me to set-up the utilies before signing a lease, in fact they wanted be to sign the lease without even looking at the unit I was leasing, they only wanted me to see the model. They showed me the unit, and since it was the best in the area at the time, I signed the lease. While setting up the units, electric and water, I found out the treatment I recieved from Emeral Greens was the norm. Per both the Electric and Water utilities I was asked if I had seen the unit, since alot of times they have to change the unit numbers have the people had seen the units, and they would then have to pay for a transfer fee.
It took over two months to get a copy of my lease, only have asking for it once a week. It took a couple of tries for them to fix the heating/air conditioning. I ask the maintance person after the third try, when are they going to get it right, and he stated "the management group really doesn't care, you are paying for the electric."
When I turned in my notice that I wouldn't be renewing my lease, I had to use one of Emerald Greens forms, and when I ask for a copy of the notice for my records I was told it was thier policy not to give copies. Lastly about the management team, when I turned in my key, I waited over an hour to have someone walk through the unit with me, since I figured they were not going to return my security deposit. Emerald Greens own rental guide suggest having the management team walk through the unit with you, guess what, again I was told it was gainest thier policy to do such a thing.
I would not reccommend this place for any type of stay until the management team is replaced. For a week stay it would be fine, but for any longer term stay, the noise that can be hear through the walls is unacceptable.
