We are on a trip across the US. First stop was Fairhope, AL. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express. Staff at desk very helpful and friendly. Checked in around 11:00 just to see if our room was ready. It was plus several others were also ready. We were told we had a choice of which floor we wanted. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good and was included in the price of the room. Some items were served hot. Great restaurant to try in Fairhope is Buck's Diner. Great comfort food. The fried chicken and pot roast are especially good. Drive out on scenic 98 to the pitcher plant bog. Really neat place to visit. Hundreds of pitcher plants. Go down to the pier to watch the sunset in the evening.

We stayed for two nights in March, 2008 while we attended a local dance competition in neighboring Daphne. I had to call the hotel multiple times prior to the stay to make changes. There was never a hint of impatience at the other end. We were very pleased with the accommodations. When you entered the lobby it looked and smelled clean. Not a chemical or spray clean...just clean. My teenage niece actually commented on the clean experience. Our room was very clean and very nice. The beds were comfortable. The service at the front desk was above and beyond. On our way out of the hotel we asked for the name of the local movie theater. We planned to call it and listen to the list of available movies, write the times, etc... The desk clerk gave us the name and number. Then she pulled up the website and handed us a printout of the movies showing. Her name was Jennifer. She and the gentleman working the front desk were very polite when my young son wanted to show some of his dance moves! I think Jennifer was also the person I spoke to on the phone prior to our arrival. All the staff was friendly. We had interactions with the front desk, housekeeping and the young woman checking to see that the breakfast items stayed stocked. The breakfast bar had a great selection (yogurts, fresh fruits, eggs, bacon/sausage, biscuits, bagels, toast, cinnamon rolls and cereals. Also, milks, juices and coffees. Something for every taste. It was better than most. Hope we have more competitions near Fairhope. We will definitely stay there again. It's been our best experience during the last two years of traveling for the competitions and vacations.

This is a very nice hotel. Very clean and in a great location.

You will not go wrong staying at this location.

We visited family in Fairhope AL. over Thanksgiving, 2006. Our stay at The Holiday Inn Express in Fairhope was by far the best family hotel stay we've experienced. The friendly staff, wonderful breakfast bar and clean comfortable rooms were so refreshing to us. We will now plan regular trips to stay at this hotel when visiting family & friends on the eastern shore of Alabama.
