“Oddly placed.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2012

This monument is in the middle of an intersection. It's kind of pretty, though, worth driving by if you're in Enterprise.

“Don't bother”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 30, 2012

I live in Enterprise and happened to have to drive downtown for some errands. As I drove by I thought to myself , there are actually people who are interested in seeing this attraction. It is the only monument in the entire United States that honors an insect. First of all, the monument is directly in the line of traffic. You can't stop and get pictures, without the risk of getting run over, literally. The statue is surrounded by a small "fountain" that hasn't had water in it for years. The town has actually put up a "Weevil Cam" to watch the statue 24 hours a day, due to the insect on top of the statue being stolen at least 5 times. They would be better off spending the money on cleaning and fixing it. Just my opinion

“Located in Beautiful Downtown Enterprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2012

First, it is just a monument so get over it. We like it a lot. It is located in the middle of the intersection of Main Street and College Street. Park and walk around to the really neat small businesses. Just don't get ran over getting your picture taken in front of it. Do not try to take pictures between 7-8 am, 11-1 or 2:30 to 4:00. These times are really busy on the week days and during the school year.

“It is a southrn thing so someone from out of the area probably would not understand the significance of a small statue in the mi”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2011

Small but significant love the downtown area with the smalltown feel. This area is constantly being improved so check back often. Downtown area has restaurants and often holds festivals. Our favorite is the fall fextival with tons of vendors selling handmade items.
