“It was not too bad until....”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

I was working in Enterprise Fri and Sat. and did not feel like driving back and forth so decided to stay here for the night. The hotel appears to have belonged to a major chain at one time. Got to the room which had all the amenities which I did not completely except. Had fridge, microwave, flat screen TV, iron and board, hair dryer, Wi-Fi, and even liquid soap and shampoo. Got on the bed which was pretty soft, this was another nice surprise. I hate a hard mattress. Slept well, it was quiet, got up and ate there breakfast. It was OK for waffles and pastries. Went back to the room and was working on my laptop when a spider came descending from the lamp in front on me. Startled me and slapped it away, but manage to get a pic of it climbing back up the wall. Probably need to step up on the exterminator coverage.

We are very happy that you enjoyed our comfortable pillow top beds and many amenities. I'm sorry to hear about the minor spider issue, we have regular pest prevention coverage, and take your comfort and safety seriously. We would love to see you again to make your next accommodation even more comfortable.

I stayed here on May 11th and 12th. The room was clean, comfortable, quiet and reasonbaly priced . I would stay here again.. That's all I have to say about the motel but this review requires 200 words, so this should meet the minimum word requirement. .

We stayed here two years ago for two nights and were extremly pleased by the cleanliness, quietness and friendly, caring attitude of the Patels. Stayed again for three nights this week and it was even better. It appears that renovation is always ongoing. The rates had gone up somewhat from two years ago, but when Mr. Patel saw, via his booking software, that we had stayed there before, he gave us the same rate as before! Unheard of in the motel industry! Thank you Mr. Patel! This is the only place in Enterprise my wife and I will stay from now on.

Good hotels in a limited market are hard to rate because the opinion is skewed by the simple fact that they may be the only place in town for the otherwise weary traveler to stay. Not so with this place...older yes, but what a great place. It was quiet, the room was modestly appointed but the bed swallowed me whole and hugged me all night long! My pillow top mattress at home would be envious!! Staff is personable and main attraction in the town (the movie theater) is just a block away so if your not into free movies in the room, tired of surfingthe web and want to catch a blockbuster film, this is the place for you. We loved it, and we'll stay there again the next time we roll thru Enterprise, AL.

We stayed here on our way to Florida and it was a nice place. You could tell it was an older motel but they have put a lot of money into it. The place is kinda hard to find but everything else was great.

Thank you for your kind review! Indeed it can be somewhat hard to find us, but we are in a very quiet and comfortable location (close by to restaurants, grocery stores, and a movie theater!). We have worked hard on both the outside and inside of our property and strive to make sure each guest is extremely happy when checking out. We hope you had the same experience, and look forward to seeing you again soon!

I spent two weeks in August 2012 crisscrossing Alabama (2,000 miles in two weeks) on business. Had to make a quick trip to the Enterprise area, and used Tripadvisor to find a place to stay, this location got good reviews, and a very good price ($50)

So arrived on a Sunday evening about 7 PM...motel is a '50's style (open court, single story). Checked in, got my room...Electronic lock, but interesting, the "credit card" type key has a piece of tape with the room number on it...my guess is that they do not change the key code. Get to the room, somewhat small (but it's only $50...). Room does not have any odors, which is good, but TV is an old tube type (but the room is only $50).

Someone has tried to renovate the room (new paint, drywall repair), but it's obvious that they really aren't great at rehab (horrible seams on sheet rock, very rough and unpainted caulking, etc). but the room is clean (big plus for $50). Mini Refigerator and micorwave (didn't use). Looked at outdoor swimming pool, looked OK, but did not try it. Bed was comfortable, got a good night's sleep.

Showed up for breakfast the next morning, breakfast area is very small (two tables with four chairs each). Nothing hot, individually wrapped pastries, cereal, bananas. Asked the desk about other hot food, stated they spent money on maintenance, not breakfast, but then brought out some biscuit/sausage sandwichs, about the size of a silver dollar (individually wrapped (but the room was only $50).

Bottom line, best place in Enterprise? Dunno...it's not bad, but then again, the room was only $50....hope my boss appreciated me saving him some bucks...

Mike,

Thanks for your review, I will try to answer your comments one at a time. As for the electronic keys, we write the room number directly on the card (or on adhesive tape) so you can remember the room, but most importantly these keys automatically expire the next day at 11am (unless you are staying for a longer period of time, we then make the the key active longer).

We indeed have been making many renovations to the property, as we do on a regular basis, and our next project is adding flat screen tvs to each room. We do not advertise a hot breakfast, so there was no misleading information there, and we only have a few tables in our office for breakfast because most of our guests like to take breakfast back into their rooms for a relaxing breakfast.

We hope you had a great and comforting stay with us, and hope to see you again in the near future. Our competitive prices and many amenities indeed make us the best hotel in Enterprise.
