I spent two weeks in August 2012 crisscrossing Alabama (2,000 miles in two weeks) on business. Had to make a quick trip to the Enterprise area, and used Tripadvisor to find a place to stay, this location got good reviews, and a very good price ($50)
So arrived on a Sunday evening about 7 PM...motel is a '50's style (open court, single story). Checked in, got my room...Electronic lock, but interesting, the "credit card" type key has a piece of tape with the room number on it...my guess is that they do not change the key code. Get to the room, somewhat small (but it's only $50...). Room does not have any odors, which is good, but TV is an old tube type (but the room is only $50).
Someone has tried to renovate the room (new paint, drywall repair), but it's obvious that they really aren't great at rehab (horrible seams on sheet rock, very rough and unpainted caulking, etc). but the room is clean (big plus for $50). Mini Refigerator and micorwave (didn't use). Looked at outdoor swimming pool, looked OK, but did not try it. Bed was comfortable, got a good night's sleep.
Showed up for breakfast the next morning, breakfast area is very small (two tables with four chairs each). Nothing hot, individually wrapped pastries, cereal, bananas. Asked the desk about other hot food, stated they spent money on maintenance, not breakfast, but then brought out some biscuit/sausage sandwichs, about the size of a silver dollar (individually wrapped (but the room was only $50).
Bottom line, best place in Enterprise? Dunno...it's not bad, but then again, the room was only $50....hope my boss appreciated me saving him some bucks...

Thanks for your review, I will try to answer your comments one at a time. As for the electronic keys, we write the room number directly on the card (or on adhesive tape) so you can remember the room, but most importantly these keys automatically expire the next day at 11am (unless you are staying for a longer period of time, we then make the the key active longer).
We indeed have been making many renovations to the property, as we do on a regular basis, and our next project is adding flat screen tvs to each room. We do not advertise a hot breakfast, so there was no misleading information there, and we only have a few tables in our office for breakfast because most of our guests like to take breakfast back into their rooms for a relaxing breakfast.
We hope you had a great and comforting stay with us, and hope to see you again in the near future. Our competitive prices and many amenities indeed make us the best hotel in Enterprise.
